hey sir perf, if my memory serves me right, did you play as an openning act for eheads or some battle of the bands at the UST nursing auditorium? circa 1994 siguro. naalala ko kasi you were using a warlock like guitar na parang paniki yun headstock at 7 strings sya. customized ba yun? naalala ko pa you were playing a redhot medley then. under thr bridge ata then segued it to give it away and it did blew me away! who were your bandmates then? puro taga conservatory ba sila? you also did some pearl jam stuff including glorified g...eh lahat kami nag aabang ng versus na hindi pa nari release hahaha may p2p na ba nung panahon na yun?

kaka insecure namang mag play dito..sige kinig na lang ako hehehe

..puros kayo mahuhusay.. sa tagal kong mag aral ng mag gitara nde pa din ako matuto.. sige sa susunod na lang ako, nakakahiya pa.. bano pa ako sa tugtugan eh... ala bang taga eascoast na magtuturo jan o ka jamming man lang?

Mga kabanda ko pa yun nung hi school, heheheh yung singer namin yung acoustic guitarist ng True Faith ngayon, utol ni Medwin.

May nagpadala na ng Versus CD sa singer namin kaya nasipra agad. Alala ko nun may isang gig kami sa Mapua yung Pedro's Cannabis tumutgtog ng "Animal", yung Teeth tinugtog yung "Daughter" tapos kami naman "Glorified G" heheheh tulala mga tao kasi di palabas sa Pinas yung CD

Tinugtog din yata namin yung rocked out version ng "Play That Funky Music"

Mightek yung gitara ko nun, 7 string tapos "putik pink" yung paint scheme hehehe

Wrong attitude, pare. Just jump in and share your playing!

Ang criteria naman is "favorite" solo, di naman ibig sabihin nun kelangan mahirap or technical. Di nga rin kelangan mahaba e, ang usual solo is 20, maybe 30 seconds long.

Ang goal nitong thread na to is to get everybody playing their guitars. Then tips may be given or solicited based on your actual capabilities, hindi hulaan

Eto Urbandub's Sailing.

I'm not really that technical pagdating sa guitar so mas nagugustuhan ko yung mga simple na solo pero lakas ng dating kesa sa mga overused shred patterns. Isang reason din is because di naman ako ganun nageexcel sa gitara or sa kahit anong instrumento na hawakan ko (I choose versatility over skill) so I'll post something simple yet clean. Eto one of the most if not, the most talented artist in mainstream today. Isa sa pinakamalaking influence sa pag gigitara ko ang Urbandub. They showed me that even through music, simplicity is beauty.

oo naman nanood ako nun eh...hahaha oh huwag na magtanong ng batch ko sa uste baka malaman nilang we're in our mid 20 's na charing! hahaha oo play that funky music naalala ko na. basta nung napanood ko yun tinapon ko na yun gitara ko. wala na akong pag asa...hahaha pero yun glorified g nyo sir, nahulog yun salawal ko nung oras na yun
