+1000 to that bro. Saw him do Tooth and Nail by Dokken. This is probably the most technical piece I've seen a Pinoy guitarist do live. I was really blown away. Walang ka-effort effort. I don't even remember him looking at the fretboard. Plakadong-plakado. Walang sinabi si George Lynch. Why? Because he was also doing lead vocals at the same time. I mean, the guitar piece was extremely difficult to play tapos he had to sing ala Don Dokken pa. Whew, mind blowing talaga.
One time, he was doing another metal song, I think, and he broke a string in the middle of it. Ang problema, his guitar had a Floyd Rose bridge. Break a string and everything is out of tune di ba? Pero ginawa niya, hinanap pa rin niya yung chords despite the fkcued up tuning and kept on playing the guitar. Root and fifth lang siguro ginawa niya pero nasa tono pa rin. Amazing din yung guitar tech niya since in probably 15 seconds, he was able to give Paul a back up guitar and have it plugged in and cranked up without interrupting the song. By the time the band finished the number Paul had a new guitar.
If you listen closely to the Rockstar and Arkasia albums [not Rockstar 2, 3, 4, ... 100 since these were done by other (non)-artists] you will definitely hear a lot of guitar pyrotechniques (pun intended). Sayang nga lang he's nowhere to be found.
