@mam bonzay

what ayofish meant was you buy a tubescreamer pedal pang boost sa
metal zone(MT2)
tapos papa modify mo yung metalzone ke sir jack bauer for 800
mas magiging solid tunog nun at hindi ka magsisise kase mod na sya
thats the keeley mode...
and metallica??
old or new??
kase mahirap naman if you want their sound talaga
pero mt2 keeley mode with tubescreamer na bad monkey for boost is good

oo nga iba tunog ng naka-tube screamer as booster, mas nagtutunog metal hehe. chug chug na hindi scooped so maririnig ka pa rin kahit may drummer na

I would recommend ToneCzar's Openhaus.

Paging Leech, please post your review.  I am assuming that yours is already with you.  While mine is still stuck in California.

I was looking for a mesa V-Twin, what i got instead (luckily) was a VOX Cooltron BULLDOG Distortion .
 -  Stand alone (with its Gain 2 all cranked up (coz its got two gain channels) -  Metal!
 -  Then i tried to boost it with a zakk overdrive (MXR ZW-144) - more Metal!!!
 -  it has a separate Bass and Treble controls. So when you turn the bass control up, the 'chug' comes in.

Surprisingly, very little hum is noted (boosted or not) maybe bcoz of the cooltron's special tube technology (one of the more quiet distortion pedals :?...so say Harmony Central reviews)

ever since i got this pedal, the rest of my distortion peds... they rested in peace  (ooops!... is this allowed?)

Ibanez TS808

joke lang.

I'd recommend a Sansamp GT2 if you have some cash. If you're on a tight budget, the Boston HM-100 is an AMAZING pedal especially for the price. Toneczar openhaus daw ok din for metal. EHX metal muff is DAYUM heavy too, with a top boost for solos to boot!

its a great idea na gumawa tayo ng soundclips with the same pedal ang EQ settings ng AMP at pedal(different nga lang yung amp at gitara) ano sa tingin niyo? para makapagcompare tayong lahat,. my mt2 at hm100 ako dito :wink:

eto po setup ko sa soundclip:
Washburn lyon series (HB-S-HB)-> boston hm-100 (stock)-> rage bass amp (not sure kung ilang watts)

and tungkol sa settings, approximation lang po ito sila:

Pedal settings: high = 2:00, Low= 4:00, MidFreq=10:00,
                      Mid= 7:00, Dist=full
Amp settings: Treble=9:00, mid=7:00, bass=9:00
Recorder: creative nano mp3 player.hehe

I also have a digitech death metal kaso pinag lalaruan ko pa yung settings.. mashadong matapang eh.hehe i'll try to post nalang din next time kung nakuha ko na gusto kong timpla. :-D
