i hope there arent any atheists in here..

i do once in a while think about the gift God has given me, all of us musicians, we are all blessed to be given the gift to speak our soul through a very unique medium,, one of Gods primary medium..
i just like to thank God along with evryone out there this week, (holy week dito sa pinas mga bro sa US, alam niyo na siguro),

id like to thank God for all the gifts He has given us..

lets all praise his name for his wonderful blessing to us all.

makes me remember when I was still starting here in Europe, medyo culture shock... a former colleague of mine, who is a christian, always ends his emails with God Bless!

then suddenly one day, tinanggal na nya, i asked why... he said, he received an email from a couple of people who finds it offensive to read God Bless in his emails... he also got a reprimand from our manager for doing so...

the reason being...although respect for other people's religion is tolerated, it is improper to use it in a business context as other people might not share the same faith...

yung thread na to makes me realize, since ive been away sa pinas...i havent had a really solemn holy week for the past number of years.in fact this week me pasok kami ... so thanks for reminding me about this and i shall make sure to find time to at least thank God. :)

i work 7 days a week even this holy week...man cant live by bread alone...i feel guilty. Must find time to reflect and get some lovin from the man upstairs.

im also thanking god that every people in this forum are decent and helpfull. i pray for all the gents, ladies and their families, inside and outside this forum to be safe and keep out from harm. lets keep our healthy relationship specially inside this forum! god bless u all 8)

i think the answer is somewhere in the Chronicles of Narnia in the last book of the series, The Last Battle.

in that world you had Narnia, where the creatures (most of them, at least) worshipped Aslan, and Calormen, where the people mostly worshipped Tash. anyway, later on in the book, Aslan explains that not all Calormene will go to hell just because they worship Tash not Aslan. those who have been loyal to Aslan, or to the morality upheld by Narnians, join Aslan in Aslan's country (heaven), even if they are Calormene.

basta. good is rewarded in heaven. evil punished in hell. doesn't matter who you call God. besides, does God really have just one name? what if all these names where just different names for just one God and yung differences sa preachings are there just because it was left to men to interpret them?

all i can say is... truth is not subjective...

think about it, i'm not out to argue with anyone here. i'm just saying that the truth will always be the truth no matter what we believe in.

Yeah, Happy Lenten...

I'm thankful I'll have four days of vacation from a year-long's work... and I'll have more time to be with the people I truly love and adore..

By the way..i'm an atheist. but i totally respect all sorts of religion. At the end of the day, we're just people who need other people to hang on to. So God or no God, I say we'll do just fine...

hehe, I DO greet people, to keep them in the "SPIRIT" of the occassion...

I don't believe in deities...but i greet my Mom and Dad Merry Christmas to warm their hearts and shun them away from thinking "Lord, where did we go wrong in bringing up our son?"

...hehehe, guess this means I'm on the dark side of the force...
