Sige nga bigyan natin test run Kung May magrereply dito at buhay ang pinoydrums
This is one aspect of drumming that is not highlighted, puro na lang gears and techniques
,but a good etiquette with other fellow drummers in sharing with the seat in the drums.
Some friendship where even severed dahil dito.
Here's what's I have in mind
If you are the main act,you have the right to setup your gear as you want
If you are the supporting act ask nicely about modifying some setup and return it after you played, and offer help to the main act guy to bring back the setup Kung konti lang ang time.
If you are using someone's personal drums, don't tune it! It might not be the sound you want but would you like someone changing your tuning?
If you are going to a gig and want to borrow some gears to other person you don't know, don't be an ass if you get rejected. Nag Ingat lang sila sa gears nila,May pambayad Ka ba Kung masira mo yung gears nila?
If you are borrowing extra pair of sticks for back up,just be sure to use is as a backup.
Even though you are in a crappy set, don't add to the damage if it gave you a hard time.
Don't bring stuffs that you don't need! Don't bring a china, splash, timbalitos and use it for design, your just adding to setup time.
Use the drums you are using as your own even it sounds like crap.take care of it.
If you encounter a rock star drummer that you don't like, just smile and leave them alone.
If there is a sound guy, talk to him,he might help you with your sound.
Say thank you to everyone no matter how good or bad your gig is.
