hmm...yung gibson sg standard naka 490R - 498T ...meron sa RJ glorietta , Perfect Pitch Rob place.

mga price range nya nsa 4k..

meron din seymour duncan and dimarzio's.. sa SD malimit kong makita sa SG ay yung SD 59 / SD jazz (neck) --- SD JB (bridge) or antiquities

sa dimarzio may nakita narin akong naka PAF pro (neck) / Air Norton (bridge) tska yung PAF Classics (choice ko)

pero yung mga stock dito sa manila hindi sila naka chrome covers mostly open coils, tapos black ang kulay.

hmm... mag tanong ka sa everythingsg.com kung anong compatible na kluson tuners (vintage green) para sa g-400 deluxe mo.
baka kasi hindi sakto yung butas ng screw..

tska invest on a good kluson tuners.. mag order ka na lang kung kakayanin. or contact mahineman ..baka kaya nyang mag pa order for you sa allparts (distributor din sila e)

para sa mga naka-Epi SG w/ stock pus, don't bother "upgrading" to Gibson 490R and 498Ts because they sound a lot like the stock Epi pus. My hunch is that these Epi pus were really copies of the Gibson 490/498s, if they aren't actually the same (they have the same ohms/resistance, same magnet types, and same company din eh). the vids i posted w/ my Epi SG are w the stock pus and give you an idea of the tone of the Gibby pus too.

but if you don't have a stock Epi SG, the Gibsons are a good option.

actually tama ka delta. pati sa sg forum ganun din ang sinasabi. parang its just an illusion , feeling mo naka gibson ka (kung epi sg owner ka) eventually mag papalit karin

yung Gibson 57 Classics is also a good choice.. a bit pricey though

yup. ang slight difference lang siguro is mas may konting mids yung Gibson and mas tight yung bass ng Epis. baka dahil na yun sa pag degauss nung older Gibson pus that i had. very slight diff tho.

Dunno about Dunlops. All my SGs and other guitars are installed with Schaller strap locks. They're very good.

I haven't been able to hear it because my computer has been acting stupid and I can't load up any soundclips.

My secretary who is NOT a computer moron like myself will be back on the 2d of Jan and she should be able to figure this out.

I've got it in my favorites and am anxious to hear it.
