wow nkaka inspire yung mga SG na nkta ko sa thread na toh a... i have a 65' Greco SG, total wreck na yung neck so elegee made me one good 3 piece maple neck, no bindings, kamagong fretboards, without any inlays... katamad lang gawin kc walang tym and parts na mbili to finish it... but sobrang na-inspire ako tapusin na yung project na yun because of you guys in this thread hehehe...

blues bro, i ordered a pair of GFS hbs for my Orville by Gibson SG para magawa ko ung coil-split wiring. in case i like em, sa iyo ko ipasa ung stock pus ng SG. US pus un, kc "Orville by Gibson" nga eh (and verified by Arie). pati nga raw trussrod US eh! balitaan kita.

i just got this Samick SG G-400, i cleaned it, adjusted it a little & replaced the strings with d'addario 10's. and from then on, i went 'goo-goo' over SG's!!

Ako din po pasali. Babilon SG copy lang po pero sobrang ganda talaga ng model na to.

Question 1: Anu po mga recommended na pickups sa bridge at neck? Balak ko sanang gawin 2 magkaibang pickups para sa neck at bridge. Watcha think?

Question 2: Anung straplock ang recommended nyo para sa SG? Im planning to but one kasi. Ok na ba yung Dunlop straplocks?

Gs2 ko ung sound nya, ewan ko ba,dhl cguro sa newbie plng ako...
Pero nakakagawa nman ako ng mtitinong licks d2... Hehe, manipis lng ung treble pickup nya... Pero nadadaan nman sa effects eh...

Nabili ko nga pla ung sakin sa Everymusic...

Hi tagal na ako di nag post dito... I miss the SG club!

I just want to post some new pics of my SG!

Its an Epi YEC G400 Limited Edition Epiphone Custom Shop.
Neck heavy nga sya, but I think masasanay din ako eventually.

Made some minor cosmetic tweaks to make it look closer to the original.
Changed the pup selector switch to cream. Changed the pick up ring screws to black.

oonga actually, ginaya ko yung itsura ng 61 laquer heheh, kulang nalang neck binding heheh... pero sa picture lang sya medyo mukhang laquer, mas maputi sya sa actual. Arctic White yung kulay.

Yung g310 ko may nag offer kasi saakin, di ako maka tanggihan ang presyo... kahit mabigat sa kalooban ko binenta ko... at least na palitan ko ng setneck na SG

Pare champion talaga! ganda tunong ng pups! 2 alnico V classic na Epi, sobrang ganda ng tone compared sa G310. yung combination ng bridge and neck pup ganda ng tunog. I think lahat ng pup positions talagang magagamit ko ngayon. sa G310 bridge lang ginagamit ko.

champion talaga, asteg yung pups ah, alnico V classic. Onga, binding at head na lang pagkakaiba niyan sa 61 lacquer. Magkano at san niyo po nakuha yan sir? inggit ako, sana magkaron din ako niyan sa pasko.hehe

Nakuha na pala g310 niyo, sayang.. ako sana papatus dun eh.

SG is my first electric guitar..... i hated the weight balance (neck vs body), i hated the neck, and the huge shape of it's butt!

SOLD! after 1 month

...immediately replaced by an RG470!

oonga ganun talaga mga SG neck heavy. kasi yung body ng SG manipis and light, so the neck + the tuning machines make it neck heavy. Its also the design of the neck, since the 22nd fret is on the top of the body, which makes the neck profile much longer.

Anyways swerte rin nakabili ng SG mo

hello sg people.

i've been a strat user for the longest time. but after having a derek trucks overdose last night, i have become a convert. his guitar's tone is just...perfect.
i have been looking for an sg in the classifieds but couldn't find one. but out of desperation, i'm asking if there is anyone in this thread who's selling his sg.

i know this is not the most proper or appropriate place to be asking such question but i'm in dire need for an sg! i would gracefully trade this fender strat for an epiphone sg: http://danj0.multiply.com/photos/album/27/Youghps_guitar
