yep, subok na yung thin crash ko. dun sa 2nd link sa sig ko meron 3 vids sa stir crazy bar in ortigas, yung songs jammin, drop your gun and kulay ng kalayaan - lahat dun gamit ko yung 16" stagg sh thin crash ko, mejo malakas lng kasi sa harap mismo kumukuha yung ngvvid pero malinaw yung tunog nya. it sounds like an avedis thin crash imo

yeah i agree with franco..even if im the former sabian head..i would say those staggs are good considering its price..i was able to test some of it on its booth during the namm show 2006 and yes they call it the "poormans sabian" which is a good compliment to the brand.....

a list of the cheapest casted brand new cymbals. share if you know more...
« Reply #15 on: January 31, 2013, 11:28:37 PM »
ok i always shop for cymbals, and use a lot of brands through the years. even though i already have my set of zildjian k's i still window shop for the cheapest but best quality cymbals

here's a list of the cheapest casted cymbals in my expirience:

1. wuhan - i think years ago lazer was selling this for 11k a set, dont know how much they are now...

2. istanbul - ok not so cheap it sells for ike 16k a set, but quality is awsome, real turkish cymbals

3. stagg - i knnow a lot of drummers switching to stagg right know coz thier so cheap and have a lot of models for your needs i think they're made in belgium. they break easily so dont abuse them.

4. RJ - rj? like the local guitar brand??? yes! they have cymbals, i have tested them and it reminds me of my old wuhans and istanbuls. a set would cost you about 11-13k, not bad for a pinoy brand... im really proud rj has these cymbals now :)

so if u know where to find more cheap but with good quality cymbals pls let all of us know :)
