i just bought a 20 yrs old cymbals, grabe sobrang kulay brown na siya sa sobrang kalumaan,
1st i used a metal polish and brushed it with a steel brush, and nawala yung color brown nya,
after that i used a driller + a buffing compound
after that pinunasan ko siya ng basahan na may thinner
and presto parang brand new na ulit yung cymbals =)

@ the pic... that is not a drill... nor it be a driller :d that is an angle grinder with a buffing wheel/pad attachment

a guitar luthier (mang max rufo of guitar central) uses a multilayer of maong disks, one on top of the other and attached to an airconditioner motor, he uses this as a buffing wheel... ok naman results hehe
matututo kaya ako magdrums? kelan kaya iyon...

mabilis parin naman... post ako ng pics later... nalinis ko na mga cymbals ko using this little thing hehehe... the speed depends sa charge ng drill :D

sir ok dba? hehe

yes it does its job... only its called a "DRILL" not a driller... just fyi :D

the heavier cymbals may stress out the drill though... pag dating ko sa 16" crash (b8) mejo malikot na cya... pagdating sa ride mejo humina na, natakot na nga ako bka masunog ung drill heheh bagong uwi pa naman ni papa un ....  :-D

it would be better kung buffing pad/disk nalang ang gawin instead of mounting the cymbal itself sa drill.
