mga bro, is it okay to use cymbal cleaners like zildjian and the cheaper one Glo metal polish? sabi kc ng iba di daw maganda na pina-polish ito kasi numinipis ang cymbals? ano puede alternative just in case na di masisira cymbals ? pangit kasi tingnan pag marami nang finger spots at malabo na cymbals

bring your cymbals near salt water, dont dip

it will naturally grow dark and corrode  :-D

I've read through all the pages but didn't come across ones fit for sabians (apart of course from the sabian cleaner). Ok ba yung Groove Juice with Sabians? anyone tried it?   :-D

Im experimenting with MC Multi-purpose cleaning cream for my drum, hardware, and cymbals. So far wala namang masamang resulta particularly sa cymbals...ewan ko lang after a long time use.

Clean cymbals?
« Reply #167 on: February 25, 2007, 06:56:21 PM »

boil water enough to fill your basin. make sure the basin can hold your biggest cymbal

mix baking soda while boiling. stir and add more until you see the baking soda settle at the bottom, if it doesnt dissolve then you know its enough. transfer the water to your basin

let the water cool down a bit. yung maiinit pa pero kaya mo na tiisin kapag hinawakan mo

soak cymbals for 5 minutes

wipe with clean cloth

at least that's how i used to do it
