Tinry ko kanina WD-40 sa isang part ng hi-hat ko na may solid na kalawang, walang nangyari at parang dumudulas lang yung basahan, kinuskos ko pa wala pa din nangyari kaya pinunasan ko na lang ng tissue para iabsorb yung wd-40 sa hi-hat ko.. Ayun so sa mga nag babalak itry ito wag nyo nang subukan.. O.o

ang alam ko ang wd-40 pang hardware lang... kasi kuya ko ginagamit nya sa mga bakal bakal sa guitar nya para di mangalawang

WD40 is not intended to remove rust..non abrasive metal cleaner should do the trick to remove small nicks..

using WD40 to clean cymbals is quite a debated matter..some use it some don't..but so far people have been saying that it does not harm the cymbal..through time you might notice that the cymbal will turn dull and yellow but this state is reversible with using cleansers and polishers..

only downside is it does make the cymbal slippery depending on amount used..

I see WD40 more as a lubricant and not a cleaner. It is used to stop squeaks.

Napakagandang pantagal kasi ng mga kalawang yan sa mga chrome eh.. Hindi lang sa squeaky springs.. Kaya napilitan ako itry.. pero parang nasaloob yung kalawang ng cymbal ko, hindi nya mapenetrate..

does the sound change because of the dirt or does it just "age"? ayon sa isang thread na sobrang informative, malalaman mo kung kelan manufactured yung zildjian cymbals mo by looking at the serial number. wala lang..

dirt is a major element for aging the cymbal (exposure to elements)..through time the sound becomes darker primarily through dirt build up..

paano ko po matatanggal yung mga parang kalawang na stains..? i think hindi kaya ng zildjian wax cleaner ito..ang Baking soda naman hindi ko rin sure kasi i tried sa b8 hats ko..hindi po tumalab..tama naman yung mga procedures ko..may pagasa pa po ba ito??

hardware shops of malls should have this..P250 for the big spray can

ginamit ko na sa mga aax ko, tanggal ang nakakainis na fingerprints. hindi naman sya abrasive kasi lubricant lang sya. pangtangal lang ng dumi sa cymbal.

dude dumi lang ang kayang tanggalin ng kahit anong cleaner/polish. ang kalawang hindi dumi, nababakbak na ang finish ng cymbal so hindi mo na pwedeng ibalik yung finish nun. unless ipa torno mo sya
