Whats your recommended cleaner for Cymbals?

by the way..
wak kang gagamit ng cymbal polisher pag ang cymbals mo is zxt titanium...

WD-40 will not destroy cymbals. It is a lube and all it does is make the cymbals slippery. It has been an old trick for removing some cymbal stains. Some say it can make some cymbals turn yellowish in color but tone factors changing has not been reported.

However to your advice of using steel brush?!?  :?

That will definitely remove rust..and everything else as well  :|

kung wala pa namang kalawang, linis lang ng basahan (damp cloth ba tawag dun) tapos sundan mo ng dry cloth. pag me unti-unti ng kalawang, nakita ko din to sa isang thread and it is effective, babad mo yung hardwares sa tubig na me oxallic for 5 hours tapos punas mabuti ng tuyong basahan.

hindi lang magagasgas ng steel brush ang cymbals mo, but it will definitely destroy it.
don't use steel brush, kahit yung "steel wool" na pangkuskos ng kaldero. definitely a no-no.

BTW, how effective and how safe yung paggamit ng baking soda + not-so-hot water? sino-sino nang nakasubok?

ok lang wd 40. me binili akong cymbal sa jb na naka display kaya lininis nila. wd40 at zildjian cleaner yung ginamit nila. Ok naman effect. This was last year...a couple of months ago, ginamitan ko ulit ng wd40. yung problem nga lang, dahil nagiiwan ng protective coating yung wd40, mas prone sya sa fingerprints.

My take on cymbal cleaning (sensya na mga kapatid - medyo nahahyper lang kaya medyo ginaganahan magtype hehe):

Me mga sticks na nag iiwan ng puting mala skid mark eh. matutunaw yan at you can wipe it out with a clean cloth
