Yup, may Reference Shell Pack ka na at that price. Wood is probably cheap wood, poplar or basswood. Kasi kung maple or birch yan for sure nakasulat yan sa specs. But Pearl is silent on the wood. Put on regular drum heads on an Epro and they'll probably sound close to a Forum kit. With good heads they're probably not bad sounding acoustically.

Ang malaking tanong dito is will they make much more noise compared to mesh/rubber pads that Roland/Yamaha are using considering brass yung mga cymbals. One of the major reasons in buying an electronic drum is so that you can practice quietly.

i think they missed that. it will certainly be louder than the regular e-drum cymbals. as they said on the video, they wanted drummers to have the real feel, thus, they put real cymbals.

ok sana ung Epro kasi real halos lahat. pero ang hindi nila nagawa eh real hi hat. sana nagawa na rin nilang real hi hat tulad sa Vdrums.
isang disadvantge na nakikita ko sa Epro eh yung di mo sya masesetup sa small space. that's one reason kung bakit ka mag edrums pero sa Epro para kang may acoustic drums na rin. so ung space na kailangan mo eh same space sa acoustic drums.
All in all ok para sa akin ang Epro except the price. pero compare mo sa Vdrums TD20 mas mura and Epro.

As long as the brass cymbals are quiet enough, ok sila. I'm all for real feel.

About the hihat, ya, dapat totoong hihat stand sana ginamit. Kaya nga even if you have the money to buy, it's better to wait for EPro Version 2.0 na lang, baka yung next model e real hihat na. Saka with 2.0 they'll be able to further tweak the kit pa para ma-correct yung mga problems.

On a side note, discontinued na pala ang Masters Premium. 
Masterworks, Reference, Masters MCX, Vision, Forum na product line nila.

Ive been using my pearl session customs for about 4 yrs na..pero hindi naman nag karoon ng ganyang issue parehas sa inyo. Bka super lakas ka naman pumalo sir??

For 8 yrs yung drumheads ko sa PEARL ko, and 6 yrs sa TAMA ko, d pa ako ever nabutasan ng drumhead. gamit pa rin ung heads ko up to now. Cymbals ko puru thin type, pnaglumaan na sobra, pero d ka makakita ng cracks and keyholes or whatever defects dun. alaga un. Tanong is, bakit ung hardware bumigay eh alaga ko nga? material issues pre. no doubt about it. If I hated the brand, I won't buy it in the first place, di ba?

Pearl SESSION sayu sir.. mataas na yan.. try mo forum (o kaya export) for 5-10 years..

Nakakalito nga e. Sabi ni Al Percival sa PDF, discontinued. As in wala na sa brochures/website, no advertisements or promotion, etc. Pero pwede special order, which was how you would purchase a Premium in the first place.    Siguro they just want to cater to those who have existing Premiums na. Syempre unfair naman sa kanila kung totally wala ng ma-order, especially yung mga masisiraan ng shells, etc.

as long as tama ung measurement ng lugs bagay talaga! Pearl has tube lugs din if you like to go PEARL all the way! cheers!

baka sa april pa kasi kami punta ng manila. balak ko kasing mag set ng sariling kit .. kung papalaring matuto sa pag palo.

pwede pero matagal at mahal.. special order kasi yung gagawin tapos money down agad.. depende din yan sa availability nung order mo, kung discontinued kahit back-order wala na talaga yun..

if ever sa classifieds abangan mo na lang.. ako man ung set ko tingi-tingi ko binuo, mura pero matagal pa din.. sa mga stores kasi walang readily available na single unit, laging buong set..

mga kapatid may idea ba kayo kung magkano ang pearl sensitone elite steel snare ung parang ganto


ang nakalagy kasi sa zzounds $190 = Php8700 lng. pero nung nagtanung ako sa jb ang sabi skin Php18000 daw ewan ko ba kung ngkaintindihan kame nung kausap ko.
