I have a unique series superstrat ala-Ibanez s-series (tobacco color), set neck. pre-owned.all stock. My friend compared it to his new gio grg270 model i think. Came back after 3 days, with a blue flamed similar fernando superstrat. "gio mo?"..."sold it."..." 2 day old pa lng yun ah?".....mas maangas ito eh..showing his fernando....with SD PAFS and humbucker fr hell installed, stock mid PUP. "how much?"...5K, pre-owned (Thanks Tonechild!)..yours?...14K plus the pickups...: ( lesson: mg Philmusic ka. Great deals on great gears!)..but his happy with his axe. Took it to Guam.

wala akong fernando or fender. ang meron lang sakin eh rockstar strat type with stock PU HSS. so good ang tone. natry ko ang fender SSS ang pick up . mas warm ang tunog ng rockstar ko so nag back out ako sa fender ^_^ its not the guitar. dre its about what u hear or how u play OR!!!!! how you tweak ur gadgets and amps

ganyan din balak ko.gagawin kong hard tail with P90 sa bridge and lipstick PUP sa neck. Kulang na kasi budget ko for a tele. hehehe

mas okey tlga ang warm sounds. lalo na pag clean tone. unlike other guitar na masakit sa tenga kasi sobrnag sinkit ng clean hehe. if gusto mo try mo din palitan un capacitor sa tone knob mo. i prefer orange cap or red cap. kasi khet wala kang humbuker . it will give you warm tone. ^_^

MIJ siguro yung Fender na natry mo bro. Kung hindi man, MIC na Squier.

Meron akong unique series nila. Ok naman sya para sa akin kasi komportable ako sa neck nya. Ang ginawa ko pinalitan ko lang ang bridge pickup at pinalitan ang volume and tone pot then add treble bleed cap. After ng mods, dun naging decent ang tunog nya.

Palitan mo lang yung pickups at bridge assembly.

Yung sa akin, pinalitan ko rin ng locking tuners na staggered yung posts tapos inalis ko yung string trees para maging mas okay ang tuning stability.

Nakabili ko sya na medyo over 7k (yung parang hawig sa blackie ni Clapton) kasama na lahat (tuner, strap, cable, at practice amp).

[/quote]....Steady yan. Prefer ko yun maple neck.Tapos upgrade mo yun bridge PUP and neck. Pwede mo din lagyan ng bleeder sa controls. 2k-2.5K sa upgrade pwede na yun.Artec pups is OK. Na miss ko tuloy yun dati kong Fernando strat.

nilaban namin sa Squire Standard Strat ng cousin ko sa Singapore

same VOX ampli, same setting, same cable...

Sabi niya ang mas malinis daw tumunog tsaka ang ganda ng playability, although naka proper setup yung akin...

so all in all... Proper Setup lang talaga kailangan para sa mga Fernando Unique Series guitars...
