yes, the Sound module of the DD-502d has MIDI i/o connections & the DD-506 has MIDI and USB

Some have bought it to use as a controller for their software

the 506 really made the midnight practice sessions quiet. my problem though is connecting it with my laptop.  hindi ako makahanap ng tamang cables, san ba meron nung USB cable? ayaw ko kasi sana ng MIDI connectors.

ganun ba talga siya ka silent? i mean unlike the rockband drumkit, maingay eh kahit nilagyan n ng silencer hindi ako makapaglaro kapag may natutulog. Maingay daw.

the pads are made of rubber so the sound is really muffled just like with mute pads for acoustic drums.  Unlike the Rock band kit that are a bit made of plastic and gives out a stiff sharp sound that does get a bit noisy when you hit it hard.

We have gotten a lot of good feedback from buyers.  As a matter-of-fact, Brown Man Revival is getting their two (2) Medeli DD-506 sets to use for their gigs at 70s Bistro (Thursdays) & Simaka (Fridays).  They use one set for standard drum sounds and the other for other percussion sounds.

The ethnic group Kadangyang will also be picking-up their DD-506 for their use in their performances.

and the band Queso will be getting theirs this week...Robert dela Cruz has pounded on the store unit at The Music Source to his hearts content a number of times and it came through wanting more.

pwede ba sa pc to? tapos samahan ng BFD or EZ drummer?  :|

yes, you can connect the Medeli module via USB  laptopop or via MIDI to your portable drum machine or other sound modules if you want the samples to come from there.

we offer 2 sets. the DD506 and DD-502, the best, the big difference is that the cymbals of the DD-506 has "choke" by gripping the rim & the snare has "rim shot".  the sound module also has more sounds.

both have Midi but only the DD-506 has USB connectivity.
