Title: What's the first Christian/Gospel piece you've ever played/learned?

Time to take a trip down memory lane. The first Christian song I ever learned on the keyboards, which i even performed as a special number in our church back when i was still a kid, was "Give Thanks" by Don Moen. I was still using the Yamaha PSR-100 then. So may matching fingered chord and rhythm pa yun on the left hand, and playing the melody on my right. I remember may tap bar pa yun sa ilalim ng keybed so that you can trigger drum rolls/transitions with just your thumb. Hehe. The song Give Thanks will always hold a special place in my heart.

Same with you TS, I first learned Give Thanks in a guitar.. and I still play it until now.. key is D :wave:

1st "basic" song I played was "Give Thanks"... 1st song I really put my heart into learning was "The Anthem"... Studied even the minor solo pattern

Hillsong united: What the world will never take. Tinugtug namen para sana sa isang special presentation ng youth concert sa church.
OT: Kakamiss si Marty, sana tumugtug na ulit sya. Nakakainspire yung mga sinulat nyang kanta sa mga unang album ng hillsong/united.

sakin nman ung Lord You Are Good ng Israel and new Breed.. nung una kong marinig un, nagustuhan ko kaagad, though medyo alam ko na pagtugtog ng keys di pa ako nakakatugtog ng isang kanta.. un pa lang ung unang kantang pinag-aralan ko nun.. talagang niresearch ko kung ano ung chords at pano tinutugtog.. tas until now tinutugtog ko pa rin, fave song ever ko na.. hahaha xD God is good talaga..

yun oh! ako natutunan kong una is one way tapos sa nung nag lead ako yung hosanna - hillsong ang the best! haha. the best ang lead dun para sakin hanggang ngayon! hehehe. almost everyday ko syang tinugtog nun nung na sipra ko ng completo! :)

Kung Christian song, "Purihin ang Panginoon" ang una ko natutunan... syempre entrance song kasi for the mass. Pero kung P&W, "All About Your Glory", "You, You are God", "Ashes to Beauty" & "With All I Am". Yan yung setlist sa 1st service ko.

"Lord I give You my heart" Beginner and newbie pa ko wayback, so memorable sakin ung song, kasi first song na natugtog ko sa guitara habang kumakanta :)

Yung first hindi ko na maalala, but here are some songs I played in drums when I was invited to do a session with a youth worship group last December 2013. First time ko tumugtog ng mga praise and worship songs that time.

Share ko na rin to sana, I am invited again to session for their upcoming anniversary concert this June 29. Eto yung first set line up. 2nd time will be playing for praise and worship.

One of my first piano recital, i dont know how my instructor taught me that, He was giving me lesson on notes, yet i played it on chords. clueless.
