I got

Paiste Signature 16' and 18' fast crash
explosive/fast attack with fast decay. ideal for multiple hits. Sounds good when hit in 8th notes, good for fast/loud settings

Zildjian K Custom 19' dark thin crash
It's dark and its jazz! I don't use it much though, its too jazzy for my tastes

Zildjian Z Custom 18' projection crash
this one's loud! loud attack with long decay and in can be annoying at times(being too loud). I'm planning on retiring this cymbal heh.

My New Main Crash: PAISTE 3000 Reflector Crash 18" (this baby is already 21 years old! courtesy of lil.drummerboy)

From Paiste Wiki:

Introduction: 1986 Mine was made in 1988  :-D

Discontinued: 1994

Background: "An extension of the classic 2002 sound, the 3000s were given added strength in the middle to low frequency range, enabling it to compete better with mid-range heavy Rock guitar sounds, especially in 3000 RUDE."

Alloy: CuSn8 Bronze

Quality: Professional

Users: Cozy Powell, Tico Torres, Tommy Lee

Sound: "Generally the same brilliance as 2002, but with added lower frequencies, they sound larger and not as clean; very explosive, extreme volume, particularly in 3000 RUDE; 3000 REFLECTOR add a glassy, shimmering quality; these cymbals are generally preferred by Rock and Heavy Metal musicians, and in any situation that requires extreme volume."

Zildjian 18" A Custom Medium Crash

Undeniably, this one opens up a bit slow and needs a hard-hit to create volume when played live. Though slow, it's just right for our music, especially during recording (needs thought-out mic placement). A bit hi-pitched but with dark qualities when opening up, the AC Medium Crash has excellent projection and blends really well. The bell is also suitable for accenting and the taper seems to be designed for crash-riding.

Though I have no regrets with buying it from Straightedgedjep (because I already love my AC Med Crash), I need to buy another for my main crash.

By the way, this works good with 14" New Beats. They blend really nice during recording.

Here it is:

I am using this one too... parehas din how I describe it. I got it 2 months ago, I am trying to use it as my main crash pero di suitable sa style ko, I am not a heavy hitter kasi. Hope I can save money so that I can buy a more resposive crash, say 16" A custom Fast Crash or 16" K Custom dark/session crash. Hunting time! :D
