Definitely this is a winner!  A two-way 15" powered system at less than 25k (each) with a Mackie badge is a dangerous combination

For this price range I think it's not RCF loaded.

The first version of the SRM450 had RCF hf drivers but the 2nd version comes with P-Audio hf drivers as what I've read before.

THUMP is part of a number of new speaker products brought out by Mackie.

These speakers take full advantage of the brains at Mackie's sister company EAW.

The Thump series has been designed and Voiced by guys at EAW.

Mackie, EAW, Martin Audio, and M.I. brands AMPEG, Crate, Alvarez & Blackheart are all under one umbrella of LOUD Technologies.

The hierarchy of the Mackie speaker series are as follows:

- HD Series
- SRM Series
- Thump Series

TAPCO was a brand under the LOUD technologies umbrella.

TAPCO was a brand of that was targeted to a lower market than Mackie but eventually, when the need to complete the Mackie speaker line arose late last year, they decided to just get the Tapco THUMP, have it improved by the EAW guys sell it under the Mackie brand.

TAPCO will eventually be discontinued.

Naidemo samin ito at Music Box Pampanga when we got the P-Audio speakers.  We liked the sound as far as the price is concerned.  :-D  :-D

+1.  Hindi lang B3, pati Behringer, Live, Kevler, TasSo, GRf, ACm, Evo at halos lahat ng cheap powered speakers sa Raon ay tatamaan sa Mackie thump.

In my opinion,  kung di nyo na afford ang high end powered speakers like the Jbl, Rcf, Qsc, Ev, etc., itong Mackie thump is the practical choice.  8-)  8-)  8-)

Sir stoney, san mo nabasa yung hf drivers ng Mackie Srm ay P.audio?  May nagsabi din kasi sakin that P.audio makes a lot of replacement parts for other brands as well?  :?  Aside frm Jbl,  even some Ev drivers are being supplied by P.audio as was mentioned to me. Tnx  :-)
