it cost me 2.5k. ye kaya nila yung rekwest mo, basta consitent yung diameter. the frame is made of plywood sandwiched by foam. the iner foam kinokorte nila according to your snare para di gumagalaw. you can text lui at 0928-5043355. she's really nice.

Yes, Darkus also offers round-shaped bags for snare drums.

Visit their Multiply website --- http://darkuscase.multiply.com .  Plenty of pics there, and their contact infos are also posted there.

what if i used a bigger 14x5.5 sized snare bag for my smaller 13x3 piccolo snare, would quality of my snare be jeopardized? ask ko lng mga ser.

hmmmm instead of using a 14x5.5 bag yi recommend na gumait ka nalang ng cymbal bag.. mas tight ang space nun pwede ka pa maglagay ng isang 16-18 crash cymbal i often use this set up makakatipid ka na sa space apti sa bitbittin mas mas makaka tipid ka..

Sir HELP!!!

I have a 6'' x 14'' Snare Drum. I saw this snare bag online that is 6.5'' x 14''.

Kasya po ba yung Snare Drum ko sa snare Bag o hindi??? Kasi sinukat ko po yung Snare Drum ko kasama yung mga hoops pati na rin yung throw-off lumalabas na 7'' x 16'' ang sukat. Pero without the hoops and throw-off 6'' x 14'' nga talaga siya.

Help please ASAP! Gusto ko yung bag!

SALAMAT!

the snare's size (ex. 6" x 14") is just the shells size itself , not including the lugs throwoff etc..
while IMO the custom / pre made bags' size is measured from inside diameter
so we must have an allowance at least 1.5" x1.5"[/b][/size]

Kaya nga po sir eh. Tsk. So, does it mean my snare would not fit into it?
Again my snare drum is 6'' x 14'' and snare bag prospect is size 6.5'' x 14" only.

i'm sorry i edit my post while you replied
BTW here it is again

it depends , its fit when it says,
example
(6" x 14" Snare bag sale!! CAN Fit maximum of 6" x 14" snare)
or
(Snare bag for 6" x 14" snares)

i hope may indication po na ganun yung sale item

but if it says only the size of the bag, i doubt po,

what model of bag are you going to buy sir?

maybe there's somebody here who has some reviews about that item

i'm sorry for unsatisfying answer, jut wanna help,
maybe there is an indication

I have a Gretsch Catalina Maple 6'' x 14'' Snare Drum.
Then I saw this Gretsch 6.5'' x 14'' Snare Bag.
Here's the link;
http://www.amazon.com/Gretsch-14-Snare-Drum-Bag/dp/B000EEHK00

It somehow matches the color of my snare and obviously it was made especially for Gretsch Snare Drums. So I was thinking of having one since I have no snare bag yet. Thanks

Thanks master vhinming for quoting it out. I'm just a bit bothered about the 14'' diameter that might affect the space of the bag due to the extra size of the throw-off. Anyway thanks again, you helped a lot! :-D

hardcase or soft case?
« Reply #20 on: May 12, 2011, 04:51:22 PM »
Hi there! I just want to ask which  drumcase/s do you prefer for your drum gear? hardcase or softcase? Both have there own advantage and disadvantages right? For hardcase, mejo mabigat  and hassle dalin specially kung wala kang  transportation and for softcase naman, much lighter dalin pero yung protection naman ng gear mo specially kung out of town/country( particularly kung I che-check in mo sa airplane as baggage)or might as well have both?what do you think?BTW,does anyone knows someone who customizes drum+hardware cases,it could be hard or softcase (other than baluti gear,no offense po,they're a bit far kasi from my place).hopefully within the metro lang, for double pedal and how much kaya?many thanks!

Welcome to Pinoydrums sir sdb!

If you're always on a gig and travels overseas most of the time I would suggest you go for the Hard cases. But if you're only around the metro and just want to protect your gears from the earth's bad elements such as water, dust, etc, I would suggest you go for soft cases..

Yes both has their respective advantages/disadvantages but its not about it. Its about identifying what you need most as of the moment..

Just like me, I want hard cases. Ofcourse because of its advantages of giving your gear a much appreciated protection. But since I'm not a working musician and just play drums for a hobby, I guess soft cases are good enough and capable enough in protecting my gears. Bottom line is, "case to case basis."

Just identify what you need most as of the moment..

Happy drumming! :-)
