"True Bypass"? nakikita co kasi to sa ibang gadget descriptions. ibig sabihin ba non pag inapakan, lalagpasan sha or something? thank you very much.

"true bypass" means that when the effect is off, your signal passes through the input jack to the output jack without going through the pedal's circuitry. by doing this, mas nare-retain ang tonal integrity mo.

pag sinabing "True Bypass", hindi nya color yung tone ng gitara pag naka-bypass/naka off yung effects or dist. parang direct na nka connect yung guitar sa amp. gets?

in addition to that, usually yung switch na gamit nung effects is yung 3dpdt switch..yung mga boss peds kasi usually 2dpdt lang kaya it sucks tone, pero konti lang naman...
problem lang kung panay non TB ang peds mo tapos napakahaba(madami effects) pa ng chain mo...don mo lang manonotice yung tone loss.

I guess the same goes to true bypass pedals. Kahit pa true bypass yung pedals ko, kung marami na rin, magkaka tone loss din yan dahil mahaba na yung chain mo. Kaya for a true bypass setup, some say na hanggang 5 pedals lang daw for tone integrity (depending din sa cables and patch cables mo).

If you meant "non TB" pedals as buffered pedals, Well, buffered pedals works well in long chain since it compensate the loss of high frequency dahil sa length ng chain. I might be wrong, but this is how I understood it.
