Am i the only one na parang naduduling sa new color skin ng forum site natin?
mas ok sana if medyo bold or high lighted ng konti yung New Topics sa thread for our eyes to see it clearly?or i am only the only one na parang naduduling?BTW,Two THUmbs Up sa upgrade ng PM!Very much improved!

Sorry, it's not actually a "new skin" - this is just the default set up of SMF. The PhilMusic skin hasn't been applied yet

Since the search engine also uses the Google algorithm, you can search what you want in Google. Just append "philmusic.com" after the search box.



Pag peak hours talaga ng Philmu, di gumagana yung search bar and yung previous posts function.

Simula nung na-revamp ang forum, nawala na yung favicon. May paraan ba para maibalik yung favicon like we used to have?

Certain features were changed or disabled when PM migrated to a new server, coupled with an update to the SMF software.

Please bear with us. The admins are quite busy people (they DO have day jobs) and will get to addressing this and other pertinent issues as time permits.

I noticed the surge of spam bots in different sub-forums. Apart from the captcha in sign-up, would PM implement it in posting? Say, if a user's posts are below 50 counts, captcha is mandatory.

good idea, even if i personally hated captcha at first due to its cumbersome nature.

instead of someone  having  5 threads for 5 different guitars in guitar classifieds... why not have just one and post everything on  it?
when they up their thread in consumes half of the first page.
they can just bookmark it in their pc or if they dont have one just email the link of the page  to their email,,,,

It can get quite confusing if you start looking for a particular seller or guitar. The UPs are limited to strictly once per day and having a preponderance of those does mean the ad has been up for some time.

thanks for you're suggestion, but right now our main concern is forum stability, performance and security.

we've already done some major changes to improve search on our forum, making use of sphinx search engine,
which also improve forum posts a little, although sometimes when making a new post, the forum it takes a long time to respond, so we still have some database infrastructure to setup correctly so that our forum is scalable.

and currently we are tackling spambots issue, our moderators are hard at work monitoring spam bots and it's posts,
so we have installed anti spam mods, but my concern is false positives users, so we are implementing anti spam mods
one step at a time.

i guess once we have a good / scalable / manageable forum at hand,
then we can install some of the good stuff like what you have pointed out

although it needs to be discussed with the moderators,
and the impact it could have into the forum.

we do have you're best interest at hand, so you're philmusic forum surfing is as smooth and pleasant as possible
