"Odd" setups and Why?

What's the "oddity" of your setup (Offset toms, low hi hats, left hand aux tom, right hand aux snare, remote hats, mismatched double kicks, china as ride, whatever have you)

and why did you choose to do it that way?

I have my rack toms offset, and I switched the high and mid toms (a la bernard purdie).
I set it up that way so I can do a 4e+a fill going SN>HT>MT>LT with an open stance and LRLR sticking, with the first L being the backbeat.
The offset makes it "ergonomic" to do triplet feel fills RT-sn-sn and making it much easier to do HTsnsnMTsnsnLTsnsnMTsnsnHTsnsn which sounds pretty nice and sticking remains to be a nice open RlrLrlRlrLrlR

ako yung crash position lang nabago. common natin kasi nasa pagitan ng hihat at tom, ako naman nasa extreme left ng hihat para hindi sagabal yung hihat kapag pinapalo ko sya ng left hand. yun nga lang mahirap paluin ng right hand yung crash pero ok lang. pansin ko lang na napakakonti ng movement ng left hand kaya dinagdagan ko trabaho nya na maging tagacrash

i remove the right rack tom (Low) to bring my ride closer. my ride is at a 30 degree angle for ease of access to the bell.

yung hi hat ko, around dalawang dangkal yung itinaas from the snare head. mataas ako maghihat.

hindi naman. I have long hands kasi. mas madali for me hahaha.

makes sense. kaysa 16" hats na malayo 

mababa yung hats ko, kulang sa isang dangkal, sasabit talaga yung sticks para sa maraming tao. pero mas madali yung left hand hi hat accent thing pag mas mababa. ang downside lang mabilis ako magpalit ng sticks kasi unang nauubos yung tip at pag naubos na sya magssplit na sya along the grain. advantage din sa mababa na hats pwede mag open hand kung trip mo lalo na kung may tom-based ostinato sa right hand.
