Anyone here collects LPs? Mejo bago palang ako dito to collect. may nabili ako turntable, pwede ko ba sya kabit sa mejo modern na speakers kahit wala phono function? Help :)

I collect vinyls bro. Will post photos if I have time. Concerning your turntable,I am not familiar with compatibility of it with your speakers. You might inquire a person with electronics background for it.

Speakers have nothing to do with the turn table, it's the amplifier that matters. Phono input is unique. You can input any input device like tape, cd, md, dvd, tuner or any other audio equipment except the phono because it's output level is different from the rest. You can't even use the Aux.

Look for an amplifier with Phono Input,,, mga surplus marami pa yan... at congrats sa turntable...

wow a vinyl thread. i'm not big with collecting them since i don't have a working turntable right now - we got two at home, both are busted but i think all they need is the needle or something.

a lot of the stuff are hand me downs from my lolo (like classical music, marching band stuff, hawaiian music and the sort...even have donna summers' TGIF along with Imagine among others)

more recently, i'd stumbled a couple of finds from a local surplus store - a pristine Dire Straits LP (Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing), and a virgin LP, my current favorite and i believe the only one i know about, at least in mandaluyong, MSG's first album. complete with lyric sheet and the untouched, never played LP.

Kung gusto mo talagang ikabit yung turntable mo sa existing setup mo, say, a home theater or a stereo setup, but your receiver/amplifier/stereo system doesn't have a specific phono input, kailangan mong kumuha ng phono stage AKA phono pre-amp para mapatunog mo yung turntable using your current speakers/setup.

Audiophiles/purists might disagree with using a turntable with modern systems like home theaters and the like, pero sometimes you have to be practical. My turntable is connected to my home theater by the way. :)

Hi sirs, medyo OT po, pero ano po ba ang magandang turntable na brand new for beginners? Di po kasi ako familiar sa turntables, at
siguradong mahihirapan ako sa pagpili ng mga secondhand dahil hindi ko alam ang dapat hanapin. Gusto ko rin po sana magsimula
ng vinyl collection :) siguro po pati na rin sa phono amp in case walang built in sa turntable :)

meron yan di ko na matandaan title ng lp kasi nga inuwi ng stepfather ko sa cavite mga lumang lp namin wala kasi
hilig sa mga lumang lp nanay ko.  :-D

Sa OLX madami , pero syempre, ingat ingat. Me natsambahan ako na Denon (old Jap brand), antique-style (wood panels) pero 1990s nilabas, 5k.

Pero matagal ko na talaga hanap yung suitcase-style, yun nga, motorino ang meron.

Of course, Technics is the top brand; but also look for old Yamaha, Sony and Pioneer.

grabe sa Collection sir shoegaze geezer! Meron akong vinyls pero hindi ganyan ka pristine yung condition ng case. tska hindi shoegaze era bands. More on pop music of 80's. wala din ako player.

ung mga crosley pede na un as long as you enjoy the spin! sa akin pamanang turntable from my uncle and japan surplus amp and speakers. swabe ang weekend :)
