Here's my updated studio. I posted several months ago but here's my new gear:

I love those Avalons. Medyo mahal kasi pag inorder sa net e.  Wala namang distributor dito niyan sa Pinas.

Are those Auralex Pads?

Kung nakukuha mo naman ang gusto mo from your gear, then that's it. In the end, nasa talento at tenga pa rin ang magandang music...

I couldn't agree more. You nailed it there bro. Eto ang guiding principle sa
pagsesetup ng gears. cheers! :-)

Ayus. Baligtad naman tayo. Bihira ko gamitin yung Pro Tools. Mas mabilis ako gumawa sa Sonar 7 e. But Pro Tools 8 is ok na din pang music arranging and composing ngayon. Geared for musicians na din not like before.

yup those are made by Auralex.  Avalon 737s are a lot cheaper nowadays as there are a lot better preamps  than these ones out there. EBay offers 737s around 50% off the actual price.  I think a lot of people are looking for preamps that give you a lot of coloration and a sound that's in your face. The 737s have a very clean sound and don't give a lot of coloration despite them being tube preamps. I like them for classical guitar music. For a thicker sound and for that in your face sound, I use the Vipre by Groove Tubes.

I will post some sound clips recorded using the Avalons tube pre and the UA 110 solid state pre in the next few days. Thanks.

i've already tried it and nakapagrecord naman ako, baka kasi masira yung soundcard ko sa set up ko.
just ignore kung maling forum ko napost.
thanks for all....

malaki ang chance na masira ang soundcard. try to get a microphone and connect it to your soundcard's mic-in and record your amp by that method.

too bad jojo.

if ever na mag-pplug ng amp-out to soundcard or interface, paraanin na lang muna sa mixer or preamp or any item na pwedeng maregulate and ma-measure yung signal coming from the amp. syempre hindi dapat clipping or overloaded yung nasa meter.
