Is there any Jazz Bars around Metro Manila.
« on: March 23, 2013, 03:11:49 PM »
Hi, I was just wondering if there are any good Jazz Bars in or around QC to Makati.

Yung tipong a stressed person could go to, have a glass of wine, listen to a woman sing to 50's jazz.

A place to relax and listen to good smooth music. :)

Try Stone house bread and breakfast.  at e.rod near tomas morato.    https://www.facebook.com/pages/Stonehouse-Bed-Breakfast/185217828162264?fref=ts&rf=209415562515130.  its not a jazz themed place (star tavern) because it is not a jazz joint. but I can vouch that the musicians are good.  depending on a given day its is usually a jazz trio with a singer or sometimes just bass and piano and female singer.

address is Stone House 1315 E.Rodriguez Ave. coming from Cubao it will be on your right side. before Tomas Morato st.

The management is still on the process of setting up the weekly featured artists and bands.

From some of our senior jazz guitarists, to fresh fusion groups and other familiar names in the local jazz scene.  :)

Good to hear sir. But will there be nightly shows even if the schedule is still being worked out?

I've been here. I agree, it doesn't look like a jazz bar, it's more of a pub. They have jazz nights every friday. :)
