Blues,Licks and Blues Scale

Hi mga bro!

Sa mga blues rock player dyan..

any idea paano mag buo ng blues rock solo?? any scale na swak sa panlasa ng blues,,
please help me hehehe bago lang ako sa blues

Read a theory about modes, at dun, marami kang style na pwede pag pilian, me, i'm using any pentatonics and improvisation, or shall we say CREATIVITY

After some short reading and choosing the mode you like, go to youtube and type the mode you like at the search box, example mixolydian mode guitar lesson

IMHO- kahit anong genre payan di naman ganun kadali na pag nabasa mo na yung theory, modes, blues scale etc e ganun na lang yun.

hindi naman built-in ang "feel" sa mga guitarists e, you need to focus and study the routine, bakit at pano sya nagawa.

di naman ibig sabihin na alam mo na yung blues scale e BLUESERO kana. you need to feel the groove, study the discipline, embrace the culture.

then regular practice with JAM mates... mas madami ka matututunan pag may ka jam ka, collective learning ang tawag dun. 

youtube? maybe, madami talagang materials dun ngayon na pwedeng makatulong, pero you need to be sure na TAMA ang pinagsasasabi nila.

All you really need is to know yourself more and discover new things, not only from the net but from yourself, hindi lahat ng nasa youtube ay tama, kumbaga nakakatulong lang sila sa pag dugtong ng ideya at kaalaman patungo sa genre na gusto mo.

you need to feel the scale, of course you need to know your BLUE NOTE IS....

You can never go wrong with the Pentatonic Scale...oh and Dorian Mode. Slash uses the Dorian Mode

You also have to work on your vibrato and bends...The Blues love them Bends

fundamentals muna bago ang lahat.. kung baga bago ka makabuo ng isang magandang guitar blues solo o kahit ano pang guitar solo yan kailangan mo munang alamin yung key center then try mo din aralin yun circle of fifths. sana makatulong.

Nakajam namin dati si sir Resty Fabunan sa isang studio, and oh well, I realized na halos wala akong alam sa blues.. hahaha. blues chords, licks, feel, etc..lupet

Tuloy mo lang yan! Ganyan naman talaga sa simula. Try ka lang ng try sumabay sa backing tracks, makukuha mo rin yan.
