jpmb, i am also looking to try the joey jordison snare. i heard good reviews and thing about his snare and i think ima look into it. i might even purchase one from the pearl shop dito sa pinas, if papayag erpats ko hehehe.

yeah 1st time i fell inlove with the ultracast snares were when i was listening to sevendust songs.. the new once though. i looked into it and found out that morgan uses the ultracast snare for live and recording. so i decided that i wanted  that snare and asked my parents if pwde bang xmas and new yrs gift nlng hahaha. and since i good boy naman DAW ako.. pinag bigyan ako hehehe. (char!! lng sharing how i fell for the 3mm aluminum snare)

yeah yup i tried them abroad. sa singapore merong Tama dealer don eh so hehhe i took the opportunity to wack some snare there na maganda for free hehehe

yeah bro..morgan rose is one of my favorite drummer and he really pounds the drums big time and yes he uses a ultacast snare..treasure that ultracast you have bro and always feel blessed your parents bought that for you.....

Hehehehe.

Wow Gep, that sounds like an interesting deal.  Only 4K for the 6"x10" PDP 805 snare?  I must check that out.  I could find that useful for my band's style of music.  And I just checked it at the PDP website.  Looks good!  Thanks for the news.

Ah i see...

i still haven't experimented with the snare e.
Ah i see.

versatile sya bro.
high tuned maganda crack
pwede mo din sya patunugin ng fat- fat so.

hahaha...:d
yeah

I visited Lyric in Araneta Center yesterday to check out the PDP 805 drums.  I'm quite impressed with the 6"x10" auxiliary snare drums, sound-wise and value-wise.  It's not the prettiest-looking snare drum (in case you're conscious with gear aesthetics), but this is a great accessory drum.  Ika nga nila, bang for the buck!  I almost bought one haha!  Kaya lang hindi ko type yung mga available na colors, which are quite loud for my taste.  I'll wait for the one with the all-black finish.

There are other Pacific snare drum models available too, though I didn't really check them out.  I was focused on the 10" snares.  :-D

It's an honor to have you here, Kelly Brady.  Welcome to Pinoydrums!

Thank you for posting.  I love your drums.   8-)

FYI...  Years ago, there was actually somebody distributing Brady drums here in the Philippines.  His name is Hanson Ong.  Wazzup, Hanson (in case you get to read this)?!  I think he's no longer distributing it.  Or maybe there's a possibility.  I'm not sure...   Bradys cost a fortune!  But they're all worth it.

If your happy with how the snare sounded with the tight resonant you might be as happy with the toms..try it out!  tighter resonants usually have more projection..

This is not the right forum to post this in sir..your need will be better addressed if you move this thread to the drum Ads section..there are some piccolo snares available there around your budget as well..
