Okay guys, its finally available at Tower Records.

Salindiwa's debut album "One".

The music touches a bit of jazz/r & b/rock/blues/reggae/kundiman/pop.

Here's a link to the "Buang" music video.

Hanep yun album. Aside from the progressive, ecletic songwriting...its a musician's album.

parang spongha ito si Kakoy...along the way, tanggap lang ng tanggap ng iba't ibang klaseng stilo at technique. gagaling at gagaling pa yan!

maraming pang ilalabas yan.

Bro, parang P350. mejo mahal dahil kakaiba ang packaging. nagtratransform.

sobra pa sulit, dahil hindi siya 1 or 2 tracks wonder. kahit pa anung track ka mapunta, lahat potential maging single.

minsan lang ako makarinig ng local music that makes you think.
it dares you to listen.
it dares you to digest the meaning and song structures.
push the boundaries. more and more.
and hindi lang yung individual songs sa album nila.
sa tingin ko, napakalaki ng nagawa nung song sequencing.
bawat kanta may istorya at the same time bawat kanta ay parte rin ng isa pang mas malaking istorya.

nagtataka ako, sa M1 along quezon avenue, nasa likod ng cashier yung salindiwa cd's and wala sa cd displays/racks/shelves... bakit kaya?

special treatment ba?

EDIT: tama lang yun, para mas makita ng tao yung cd nila. that cd is gold..

Salindiwa's album is OPM's savior! the market is saturated with pogi rock, nonsense rock (dvd sir, did ma'am, dvd dvd dvd x!), acoustic cover bands and novelty songs that not much new quality music is being produced. mabuhay kayo Maik, Franz, Kakoi, Nikko and Paolo!

just got this album yesterday... ang galing!
bihira lang magkaroon ng local band na ganito..buong album mararamdaman mo yung puso ng tugtugan nila, walang tapon na kanta, grabe sa mga arrangement. very inspiring...

agree ako sa inyo mga sir, this is a strong contender for the best album of this year.
