rip off? hindi a. just 2 bars from the chorus sound the same. the whole song is too far from what cueshe did.

I consider it an insult to silverchair ( one of my favorite bands ever - I have all their albums) when people say that it's the same song. IT'S NOT.

it's a cheesy song done in the same key so its not really a crime that notes used are simmilar.

Yung sabi kong di nila pinaghirapan yung intro ay mapapakinggan sa pattern or song structure ng kanta. Both songs’ intro were solo guitar (ung sa simple plan ay elektrik, sa cueshe ay akustik) and then full band (both songs ay pareho yung chord pattern and halos pareho yung beat). And then the verse… parehong bababa ng volume.
Sakin lang ay obserbasyon lang po, sa pagsisipra ko kasi ay nai study ko ang pattern ng mga songs.

If you notice they are like in their mid 20s early 30s but lyrics are for 15 year old band starters..(maybe worse)

cueshe walang kwenta!!! yung reason pa lang kung bakit cueshe ang tawag nila sa sarili nila eh napaka-walang kasaysayan na e. favorite snack daw nila dati bananacue kaya "cue" tapos babae daw yung vocalist nila before kaya "she" putik yan can it get any worse? haha!

ang main reason naman kasi kung bakit yang mga papogi na bandang yan ang sikat is because yung ang kinakagat ng karamihan e. it's just my observation, but maybe it's because of poverty that the "lighter" or more radio-friendly songs are appreciated more by the general public because little to no listening analysis is required. kung baga sa PC eh plug and play. at least sa US kahit madami ring sell-outs at mga papogi/pacute artists, madami pa rin ang appreciative sa musical skills ng ibang mga bands. dito sa Pinas, kung patugtugin mo ang songs ng Salindiwa, Wunjo or any very talented bands sa public, chances are halos walang makaka-dig nun kundi mga musicians din na nakakaintindi ng musicality/talent/lyrical content and a few knowledgeable listeners. let's face it, the truly appreciative listeners are in the minority.
