walang bias ha?
mid-hi,sub, powered,passive
pero mas ok sna
pagusapan ung pwered mid-hi

Any opinions from the music gurus regarding this topic?
Gusto ko rin po kasi malaman which among these powered speakers ang mas superior in terms of sound quality, reliability and affordability. Mas mainam po siguro kung makapag-share kayo ng feedback nyo on these speakers based on personal experience. Kung may iba pa kayong alam na powered speakers na ok ang quality at di mabigat sa bulsa, much better kung i-share nyo din.

i got a pair of those grf powered speakers ung tig 400 watts rms.so far ok naman performance nya.we've used it for small events pero since isang pair palang sya strictly for vocals lang ang use since wala padin kmi subs para maka house ng amps and drums.ung last event namin basketball court kinaya naman nya.i willl get another pair soon para di na mahirapan ung pair ko ngayon.balak ko kasi two a side na grf powered speakers and a pair of subs.any body have any recomendation for good subs?thanks hope i helped.hehehe

B3 is ok for us. Affordable, and maintenance is LOW COST... we have 8 units.

EVO vs B3

Well, sa mga nasalihan kong events, EVO had failed a lot of times as monitors. Never ko pa nakitang pumalya ang B3. Well, I haven't had that much exposure with B3 naman.

For now hands down ako sa B3 over EVO.

parang iba ibang level po ung mga brands na nilagay nyo. siguro kung tipiran walang katapat ang B3. I dunno about the brand SPL. Try nyo rin po.

for budget setup i guess pede rin po yung spl..... used them on an install so far so good medyo sensitive nga lng sa gasgas pag mobile use

I would recommend the SPLs.

I have four of the powered 15" cabinets. They're loud and very durable. The only downside is that they weigh considerably heavier than the plastic counterparts...ouch na lang sa buhatan!!!

I think it would be a great time to organize a shoot-out, the best judge will always be your ears......anyone know of a basketball court where this can be done? it would be healthy for everyone to hear all brands side by side....maybe based on price categories like P0.00 - P25,000, P26,000 - P50,000, 51,000 beyond..

It be great if other suppliers join in and lets have some fun!!

I agree pero!! i also have four of them 2-PS15 and 2-PS15A, para sa akin same quality sila ng tunog ng TS360 ng B3... long throw ung mga drivers nila

Make sure there will be a SINGLE SOURCE of SOUND TESTING EQUIPMENT. Hindi kanya kanya. No dynamic processors, EQs, etc......

Any soundplayer>mixer>AMP.

This event will be a great pro-audio show... pero sa tingin ko ( or pandinig ) mas maganda if NOT on a basketball court... Baka mas maganda ang freq responses if done in a golf course area...

sa tatlo na yan B3 lang ang meron website. SPL and EVO wla akong makita.

audio signal straight to powered speaker...no processing...open space.....just the way we like it done.
