Depends on your needs because they are two very different pedals.

+1. the MS50G is like a swiss army knife. it will cover a lot of needs, but only up to a certain level.

the TS9 however, is like a jungle bolo, it's functions maybe limited to being a dirt pedal, but damn, the significance of its effect/capability is definitely top notch.

if you have tube amp and you needs OD --> TS9
if you have solid state amp and you  need OD --> MS-50g

TS9 sucks if used on a solid state amp but shines and sings very well in a tube amp.
With MS50g, you have other tonal options to adjust with the solid state amp voicing.

Ano ang pickup configuration ng Prestige nila sir, H-H or H-S-H?

Iba kasi yung 5-way na ginagamit pag H-H at kung H-S-H ang configuration..

I tried both sir. For my taste and purpose I'd go with frfr. I tried going back to an amp after doing frfr, iba yung tunog eh. Lalo na kung maganda modeler mo.

Kaya ako nag frfr kasi iba ibang amp ginagamit ko. If mag 4CM ako, lagging kukulayan ng amp ko yung tunog ko.

Another option I would suggest is plugging your modeler straight to the return port of your amp. At least dito magagamit mo na amp models mo, yun nga lang makukulayan konti ng power section and ng cabinet mo.

oo nga factor din pala yung cabinet and power section not unless eh i-off mo yun sa modeller mo. well, mukang frfr nga talaga path ko hehe. desidido na ko sa frfr before pero nagbabasa basa pa rin ng comparison 4cm, poweramp + cab and yun nga frfr. hehe salamat paps!

Haven't tried the Tech21 Boost OD, but I had a MIA Digitech Hardwire CM-2 before. The Hardwire was outstanding for what it can do. Basically a tubescreamer with the "Tone" control separated into "High" and "Low" controls for better fine tuning.

Ang alam ko TS-10 talaga si John Mayer.. Nagkaroon na ako ng Maxon OD9 (i like this) at Ibanez TS-808ri (i like this too).. Hindi naman grabe yung difference ng TS9 at TS808 (for me), mas may compression at bite nga lang yung TS9 compared sa TS808. Smoother yung 808.

Para sa akin, mas gusto ko pang Mayer solo tone yung TS808.

May nabasa ako na yung TS Mini daw is actually based sa TS9, but I'm not really sure.
