Dugs3, may bago na naman silang bassist? i thought si rob trujillo na talaga? rob came from suicidal tendencies so i guess magkaka edad sila. they should be familiar of the old trash metal sound.

i just hope this one do not sound like st anger which is a disappointment for me. last album i bought was the black album tapos huminto na ako kasi i dont like their musical direction plus yun hitsura nila, akala ko magiging stray cats na sila hehehe i wish to hear something similar to the "cliff burton" days.

is it just me or does the new single sound an awful lot like fade to black?

especially sa beginning... at least the feel of it. sucks na they had to resort to copying themselves... and what the heck is up with lyrics like "Love is a four letter word"?! did James, our beloved metal monster actually say that?!

im really hoping na the rest of the album is better. listened to my apocalypse na din, not diggin it at all. wala na ba ibang maisip na drum beats si lars ata?

got all 10 songs! hindi yung demo ha, fake yung demo eh, death magnetic talaga! hehehe, can't wait til next friday, i'll buy the album, ganda din nung unforgiven III, mas mabilis lang ng kontil.

Listened to the album na... verdict?

They haven't released any kick ass album after the black album. There were a few great songs here and there like Bleeding Me, King Nothing and Fuel, but no one body of work that was earth shattering.

What I loved about Metallica before is that ONLY they could create the most badass metal riffs ever. That is not the case now. Sad to say this, but i think younger bands like Avenged Sevenfold pretty much own Metallica now.

This album produced no revolutionary riffs or guitar solos at all. No riffs na gusto kong matutunan kaagad. None.

I miss Metallica '83-91...

just heard the FULL album
and tallicas back!!!!!!!!
ibang klase tunog ng metallica ngayun, lively yung drums saka guitars. you could hear some riffs reminding you of 'fourhoursemen' 'seekndestroy' battery' ' mastersofpuppets' 'one' and mga songs from st.anger (which to me has its good moments).

Lars' drumming was sloppy for you.
Het was singing like a happy camper.
Kirk can't turn off teh wah.
The drums sound too raw.
