hmm good question, kasi nakita ko din ung bagong fernando ng JB pero hindi ko na check ung details. pero pre may mga reminders lng ako sa iyo when you are assessing a kit:
probably one of the most impotant would be CHECK THE NUMBER OF LUGS PER DRUM (making sure the number of lugs comply to the standards, para matono mo ng maayos ung kit mo). take note that for a snare drum, the minimum number of lug is 8, kng 10 pa ung lug nya mas maganda, pero below 8 is below standard. take it as a guitar which is suppose to have 6 strings pero 5 lng ung nka lagay =( para sa toms (lahat ng toms from left to right hanggang sa floor tom mo) dapat may 6 lugs sila for minimum, they can be 8 which is better, pero kng lima lng below standard un pre. sa bass drum nmn standard number of lugs is 10, it can be more but below 10 is below standard. pero take note po sa bass drum, kahit bumili po kau ng pearl o ng tama na entry level, 8 lng ung lugs nila, ung 10 lugs sa bass drum nasa mga pro kit na po un.
tapos take note din po sa hardware na included sa package, napansin ko na halos problema sa mga hardware is the snare stand and the bass pedal, ung snare stand mahirap iadjust sa angle na kelangan mo minsan, tapos pagka kinalawang na minsan hindi mo na maiikot, sa bass pedal nmn kadalasan maikli ung chain, kadalasan hindi pa pwede ma adjust.
of course ung cymbals na ksma, minsan may mga freebie na cymbals na ksma, pero marupok ung mga un idol, you really need to buy a better set of cymbals sooner or later, lalo na kng madalas ka gumamit, yupi yan agad.
hope that helps. good luck!
