correct me if i'm wrong but half-life half dead existed during the 80's. kasabayan pa nila the dawn.. nagpahinga lang sila then came back mid 90's

i remember the raw version of laklak na medyo mabilis hehe.. tunog live kasi yung retake nila..

I can't remember the bands (it probably won't matter because most can't remember them either, and many currently popular bands will go the same way) but I remember the time they had world music programming. That was rarely done in Philippine radio.

yeah thats right, it was when they just got on the air, wala pa 'atang dj nun e, they just played whatever...some indian music, some electronic pa nga e, had a lot of great stuff then

It didn't matter, too, because Pinoy bands still perform the same commercial pop.

There are probably two stations left on the FM dial that still have alternative music (i.e., compared to contemporary commercial pop). One is 98.7, but it's not fully operational. The second is 104.3, which has programming ranging from Spanish and Lat Am music to the Philippine kundiman.
