guys what do you think is the future of a Rico Blanco-less maya?

naalala ko yung time when the Heads tried to carry on (sans Ely) pero nagpalit din sila ng name (cambio)

Sa tingin ko, mag-iiba yung tugtugan nila. Less english songs. More tagalog.  :-)

weird lang na "rivermaya" pa rin ang gagamitin nilang pangalan. dapat nga dati pa sila nagpalit ng pangalan, kahit mula nung umalis si nathan.

pero yun nga. pangalan lang naman to. pero di ba parang off pa rin?

actually, the ely-less heads would've continued with the same name, pero sa pagkakaalala ko, nagkaron ng legal issues.

mag-iiba na cguro kc ung mga songs nila ngayon hindi na ganun ka-catchy. pero hindi pa cguro sila aabot sa point na magdidisband or change sila ng name kc mukhang enjoy sila sa ginagawa nila. pero mas ok gumawa ng songs c rico un lang  :lol:

makining na lang tayo ng WHite album ng beatles.....mas masaya pa pagusapan yung songs dun....he he...currently listening to Happiness is a Warm Gun....yeah.

With all that have happened to them, let us give the new rivermaya a chance. Some bands do fold up even before reaching stardom, while others never do split up even if they should have. As for maya, let us just treat them as a band trying their best to continue playing music despite what had happened to them. That is admirable enough for me..

I wouldn't want someone telling me what to do with my band when they could have minded their own band's business in the first place, right? I would have wanted everyone to still be there: bamboo, rico, perf, etc. but... life moves on bro...  :-)
