After years of playing, I still don't know how to "cifra" fast passages or fast guitar solos in a song. 

But really, in most cases, mas okay pa sakin magmodify o magimprovise. Parang ang hina ko tlga dto. Lalo na pag madaming nota tapos labolabo pa ung recording.. :/ Unless na bagalan ko sya or hanapan ko ng tutorial or cover sa youtube, normally di ko tlga sya makukuha .. And i'm just amazed and wondering how other people on youtube kaya get it, and accurate pa per nota?? Haha. Wala lang, naisip ko lang .. sinslowdown din kaya nila yung mga ganung sections?

Kayo ba? hehe. Any comments or advice are well appreciated .. ^^

slowmo boy din ako  Meron lang talagang mga tao na kabisado ng hearing nila yung mga intervals, tapos siguro mas kabisado nila yung movement ng mga arpeggios and commonly used riffs and motionskaya mas madali nila nakakaba. Kaya ako improvise na lang din

ang advantage natin, it's easier to make the covers we make "our own" kasi di natin matugtog yung original riff

If you're doing this for years and still can't see any improvement or progress, then I think there is a problem, kung ano yun? I don't know, maybe has something to do with your motivation, or knowing the difference between interests and commitment, like bakit ka tumutugtog? Or maybe something to do with focus, and dealing with distractions. Anyway ang mahalaga na eenjoy nyo yung music, but if you really wanted to go for it, well, I suggest, Zen meditation would help  and of course TIME and a RIGHT METHOD of practice.

siguro for me, more than which standard, what the goal is. Iba-iba rin naman ang technique eh, and some work better for some people than others (like some (few) people are just better at shredding without using the pinky). Basta siguro yung practice is to reach a more specific goal (for example sweep picking, first practice session naka-focus sa picking motion lang). tapos yung method siguro, it will follow, basta mahanap lang yung na-eencourage yung practice kaysa nagiging burden.

Playing since i was 6 yrs old...pero di nmn po ako magaling...kelangan ko pa rin aralin scales..nagstart na ako dati natigil lang..tapos aaralin ulit tapos makakalimutan...kaya di ako nagimprove...
tsaka di pa rin ako marunong magtimpla ng mga fx...ussually kabandmate ko yung magtitimpla para sakin...kaya multi fx na eversince ang gamit ko..yun nga lang yung nakaset na timpla na yung ginagamit ko..hindi ako naglalakas loob ibahin mga setting...

pinch harmonics at the lower frets
sweep picking

same here! I know nothing about the Fender offset guitars. Also not helping is the Jagstang thing. 
Also after all these years, at sobrang nakakahiya to ah... I have no idea what exactly the Strat quack is

you are not alone. HAHAHAHAHA sa strat models and Tele models mejo mabilis ako makadifferentiate eh. sa mga offset, hindi talaga HAHAHAHA

Either they have unbelievably well-trained ears (combined with years of experience playing fast) or they're using Guitar Pro/tabs.

Tabs can only teach you the notes though. Playing up to speed is a whole different story.

The pentatonic shape!! I feel so limited!! That, plus I don't know how the blues guys make super groovy licks without going out of the box so much

hahaha this! but in my personal preferences, arpegios can be applied also inside pentatonic box you said. just like what i always do when improvised solos are needed. (hindi ako sure dito ha)

I just realized, hindi rin pala ako marunong mag arpeggio

Arpeggios are fun and really sharpens fretboard memory.. Pero for now I'm trying to use the penta boxes as fast guides kung paano i-apply iyung nasa link below..
Pero imbes na arpeggios, I just use triads / chord shapes.. mas madali, hehehe..
