I had my Metal Muff with top boost replaced with my current Tubezone V3. Never looked back.. hahaa!

Haven't tried the HT Blackstar, I'm a fan of chugchug that's why I bought TZ, In my opinion, TZ is more on heavy tight distortion field, It sounds like fuzz to me if you turn the gain all the way up, but then It's really a Chugchug pedal. Just wondering the difference between the 2 version.

CHUGCHUG talaga! and you can control the tightness of the bass with the character knob. Just like the Metal Muff, if you past 12 or 1 o'clock, medyo fuzzy na. Wondering between version 3 and 4 din. Basing sa looks, I pick the ver. 3.

agree! Have you tried the TZ sa 18v?

18v way to go. I actually have 2 EQ's after my TZ. One tube parametric EQ (boost and dynamics), and one KFK10band graphic EQ. SO MUCH TONE SHAPING POSSIBILITIES!
