Guys, meron ba sainyo gumagamit ng Dean Markley strings? ok ba? hmmm. I was just curious, saw it sa store the other day. I wanna try it soon. Medyo mahal lang. 

pre 75 na lang to sa jb ngayon... do ko alam kung bakit... pero lahat ng dm dun 75 na lang per box.

bibili nga ako ng 5 sets sa sweldo eh..

last week bumili ako ng 2 sets..

di naman siguro to fake no??

ernie ball extra slinky strings are great! sobrang vibrant ng tunog plus its reinforced for bending fanatics.

alice strings make the best practice strings though. i got mine several months ago and there isn't a hint of rust on it. hindi ko nga pinupunasan yung akin pero lufet pa din. saka 100 bucks lang kaya ok talga! i use gauge 9 strings pag tagal siguro gauge 10 na gagamitin ko kasi mas rich yung tone ng higher gauges.

.09 gamit ko na random Korean brands ang nakukuha kong strings (from a friend) mura kasi e. Around 80-90 pesos lang, tapos ok naman yung feel. Pinapatagal ko na lang with GHS fastfret.

GHS Nickel rockers .046 sa wounded strings, la marea or mariposa 0,1,3 yung iba.

GHS kasi matibay, la marea kasi talagang madaling malusaw yung treble strings sa humid na hangin dito + pagpapawis pa ng kamay ko 
Di ko na din ginagamit yung plain strings ng GHS (stored for emergency purposes) kasi naka floyd ako, pag kinabit ko kasi yung plain ng GHS tapos pinalitan ko ng la marea in case maputol at wala pa ko pambili bago, katakot-takot na adjust nanaman nung floyd. 

Mga one to one and half month ko nagagamit yung GHS tapos two weeks yung la marea. 

question na rin, san ba nakakabili ng bulk pack ng la marea/mariposa? 10 pesos kasi per string dito eh, baka makamura pa po pag bulk

im currently using normal gauge, .10-.46 SIT Stainless on my DS3.

honestly, as far as guitar is concerned, halos magkapareho lang mga strings nila... ive tried XL, Blue Steels, Ernie Ball, GHS, etc., and wala talaga silang difference saken. wala akong strings na mimiss or hinahanap hanap, unlike yung pagpili ko ng strings sa bass (fave ko currently yung Warwick).

so far, ang ayoko lang talaga is yung mga mariposa at maya strings. OK naman yung Alice at pirated Gibson and Fender pang practice or pang replace ... di sila kasing lutong ng mga "branded" strings, pero maganda nga yun most of the time - di ko kasi gaanong trip yung tunog ng bagong bass strings sa guitar.

conclusion ko sa guitar strings is: as long as nasa 200 php line sya and nahanap mo ang gauge na gusto mo, i think you'll be satisfied kahit anong brand pa yan (as long as hindi overpriced).

I use Ernie Ball Power Slinky. The gauge 11s. But since I've bought a tele, I've been scared that the big diametered Power Slinky might eat away at my guitar's nut ( and the fact that I may need to adjust the truss rod..not sure though). So I've changed back to Regular Slinkies (Gauge 10s). I've been an Ernie Ball user since ..umm..as far as I can remember.   I've tried fender Strings and a cryogenic strings but I don't find them as bright and bendable as Ernie Balls. And a usual set on my guitar could last up to 6 months without a single string breaking ( or corroding..although the silvery shine does get rubbed off). Lately there has been a shortage of Ernie Ball regular Slinkies at JB music, and I can't find them anywhere (HELP!?!). Bought D'Addario XL 10s (thinking they might suffice) but..err..they don't sound right. Yun lang. I was not paid by EB for this post.

D'Addario XL .10's. for me. Mas gusto ko ang tunog. Incidentally, I read somewhere that Eric Clapton uses the same brand and guage.

Tried using Ernie Ball .9's once but I had a tendency to overbend the suckers.

I use almost any brand that works for me.I use d`addarios,ernie ball,Yamaha,Dean markely,Ghs, and now I`m using Rotosound(England made),They`re quite nice at an affordable price and it even has an extra no.1 string.Next,I`ll experiment on using is Snarling Dogs.Vic says they`re good too.On classisal guitars,I use Savarez,Hannabach,Augustine Regals and Darco by Martin guitars.

Am using Fender Stainless Flatwounds for my Semi Hollow (.012) I love its warm sound and GHS Stainless Steels (.010s) for my solid electrics... sparkly ,nice sounds:-D
