Unlucky He Dong needed emergency surgery after collapsing in agony as a result of his high protein Tofu diet.

He, 55, had two hours of surgery on his left kidney after a CT scan for his abdominal pain revealed his kidney was filled with 420 stones.

He told doctors at the Dongyang People's Hospital in Jinhua city of East China’s Zhejiang province, that he ate a large daily diet of gypsum tofu, a local food with a high concentration of calcium sulfate.

but I love tofu!! 

eto namang article na to nag sensationalize naman, "gypsum tofu" whatever normal na tokwa lang yan, gypsum lang yung coagulant na ginamit, which is the traditional one.
