anu kaya ang magandang replacement na tube sa amp ko?
im using BEHRINGER ac108 15/20watts with stock behringer 12ax7-a tube
eto ang ginagamit ko sa indoor gigs, tinututukan ko lang ng mic lagng clean channel lang ang ginagamit ko kasi im using pedals, ok naman ang tunog niya kaya lang medyo nahihinaan ako and bass and treble lang ang EQ niya kaya medyo mahirap ishape yung tunog
plano ko palitan yung tube niy (i hope it helps) para lumakas yung tunog, mas maging creamy ang tone
ano kayang best tube replacement, i only play alternative music kaya di ko need ng high gain...
please help me decide...

I suggest get a bigger and better amp.

You can replace the tube pero in the end, macoconstrict pa rin yan ng design ng amp (Bass & Treble controls only) as well as the wattage and speaker size..

Anyway... if you're really keen on replacing the preamp tube for a creamier breakup, try a Mullard.

AFAIK for the most part the extra letters either indicate a slightly different gain level for the same type of tube, or it might not mean anything at all, especially for current production tubes. I say try it out and see if it works.

Yes you can interchange the two.

12AX7B is just a bit higher gain and lower noise than 12AX7A.
You might hear a difference, or you might not.
Depends on how much actual distortion you use.

Pretty much the same I guess.
 
The 12AX7B is just a slightly better build, resulting in a lower noise floor which makes it great for high gain applications.
It's also a bit more expensive than the 12AX7 / 12AX7A.

Hi mga sirs, question lang. Can I replace my Blackstar dual HT pedal stock tubes sovtek 12ax7 with a mullard 12ax7? whats the effect? any other things to consider? Medyo needs replacing na yata yung tubes ko cause nawawala na yung tunog nya sa channel 1 and yung tapang nya sa channel 2. Had the blackstar pedal for a year and a half na. Thanks
