This is what I got from Vinci and I love it so much...

AHEAD 5B drumstick
AHEAD Grip tape, which I already wrapped around the stick already
AHEAD extra Long Taper

By the way, I believe there is a thread about sticks already before, can we just merge it with this one and just keep the thread title as it is...

i'd like to see drumster's memorabilia closet of broken sticks!

Well, it's not really a closet, but here it is!  :-D

My (edited) caption from my Multiply site:

"I have this habit of throwing most of my broken drumsticks in this container. I've been doing that since I began drumming in '92...

It doesn't look so plenty in the photos. But believe me, those are a lot of drumsticks!"

These photos were shot two years ago.  So that means nadagdagan pa ang broken stick collection ko.  I should throw a hickory-smoked barbeque party someday.  :-D

By the way, I believe there is a thread about sticks already before, can we just merge it with this one and just keep the thread title as it is...

Good point, bro suspendead.  Bro akira, you opened this thread, so it's your call.  8-)

That's what I was waiting for. drumster's box of broken sticks; wow a collection from way back '92! It proves to show what a great drummer drumster is, with proper stick technique and handling were not supposed to break them that easily.

Good point, bro suspendead.  Bro akira, you opened this thread, so it's your call.  8-)

I wanted to separate the discussion from a simple image appreciation thread of our beloved sticks; you know how we are with images and forums, we just love to see them at times. Through this thread I am trying to encourage our members to post images rather than just have discussions. What do you think? :-D

(If you guys think otherwise I'll merge it anyway..)

^ Thanks bro akira!  Well, I've broken a lot of sticks over the years.  Pero dati nung mas bata pa ako grabe mas mabilis and mas madami akong nasisira.  But as years pass, bumawas ang stick consumption ko.  I guess my technique improved over the years, kaya ngayon mukhang matagal pang mapupuno yung container ko.

Pero hindi lahat ng nasirang sticks ko nandyan.  I left a lot of broken sticks lying on the stage floor.  A few, I gave away to friends as remembrances.

Regarding the topic merge...  You have a point too, bro akira.  So, it's still your call.  :-D

eto yung naka display sa rack ng iba ibang collections ko, di k tp ginagamit.

first is a dave weckel vic firth signature series, secon is a buddy rich signature series.

THIRD: signed by Mr. Jose Pasillas (Incubus Drummer) himself. He himself could attest to this. I personally know the people who handles bands who go here to play. pinilit pasignan to sakanya kahit nag LBM na siya. hahaha!

i also had a pick (tama spelling?) na ginamit mismo ni Adam Levigne (Maroon 5) kaso hiningi ng gf ko na ex ko na ngayon. PAKTAY!

as you can see, dami kong stick na di gamit,
merong pang electric drums, thai stick, carbo stick, lyre stick (hahaha!), and some other stichs na experimental na pag bili at pag gamit.

gamit ko talaga si Zyldjian 7a.
Let your drums sing for you!
