Yeah
It has been debated to be other pedal types but this pic shows they are tuners. Theres a tuner to every path/ amp setup or something. I honestly think the setup could've been designed better but then again John has all the resources to be uncompromising.

one of the reasons i'm still keeping my tu-2

but i've discovered that BOSS pedals are not true-bypass... sayang.. so far mga BOSS pedals ni JM are Keeley modded..

here are his pedals nung 2006:

and last year:

this kinda reminds me of a Line6 M13.. hehehehe..

John once confessed "I'm not a big pedal guy" so maybe he still gets confused on his board lol look at the labels. 4 tuners; MOOG, Acoustic, Acoustic 2... Moog is the guitar played in Assassin. There's also some funny labels on Macintosh's board. Wait. Let me post.

Macintosh's

I see he stll uses a Klon, and so does Mcintosh. Now I need to remind myself how unimpressed I was when I tried one.

i just watched john mayer last friday in san jose!!! it was just amazing.... definitely got my money's worth of guitar solo's and awesome guitar tone... played a solo using a drum stick and then played his guitar while it was laying flat on the floor... plus a steve jordan drum solo! i'm quite disappointed he didn't play slow dancing in a burning room but it was still a great show nonetheless  :-)
