Sir I heard sa abroad especially sa states and Europe. 1 speaker per channel samantalang dito sa battle either 2 pcs speakers per channel or 1 pc speaker per channel pag bridge mode... Tsaka pag sa abroad maingat sila di pinupula ang ilaw ng amp samantalang sa Iloilo ay normal na pulahin Ang ilaw for ilang oras ng amp pag may battle lalo na sa dinagyang. Hi, I dont know who or where you get that information from. But I can confirm and guarantee you that most of the guys here in London commonly use 2 speakers each side ng amp o 4ohms pati na rin ako
. Others might run 3 each side but very few people run 4 speakers(2ohms) which I dont blame them also. The most common Sound System I hear dito is mostly Rootikal Sound o mga Reggae Sound System which for me isa sa mga matitindi pagdating sa Bassline.
Thats is also quite true na a few here nga maingat pagadating sa monitoring ng amp. They do run it also to Red pero signal lang hindi solid red
which even you will probably agree na hindi naman kailangan papulahin ang ilaw if you giving enough power already ang iyong mga speaker. Kasi if you have headroom on your amps hindi mo naman kailangan talaga kasi makakaya ng amp i drive sila. Tsaka you will hardly get to RED if you set up correctly your gains from your mixer, processors and amps
.
I'm sure na diyan sa Iloilo they can let this happen kasi commonly naman sa atin dyan mostly sound technician o mga operator lang ang normally nag ooperate ng system hence kahit mamula they dont really care kasi kahit masira hindi naman sa kanila. Again, I could be wrong pero siguro wala namang system owner na every Battle/Paupas may mga damage sila di ba.
Here's my friend Alf or LIGWA demonstrating couple of his scoop. Apologise in advance music might not really your thing.

Another example from another friend here....1 x CROWN MA-5000VZ powering 4 full scoops Fane1000 loaded. Again distortion is from my crappy phone camera.
