Non-traditional shaped guitars... (flying v's, warlock, dime. etc.). They are great guitars but just not my type.

i don’t have a telecaster and i’m not a big of fan of the gen. design either(hmm maybe a telemaster) - but some of the bands that i admire use them effectively like The Police, Radiohead, Death Cab for Cutie, Bloc Party...a lot of people hate teles that i’m starting to like them now (just to piss people

i can understand why people dont like Les Pauls, strats, BC Rich pointy shaped guitars, tube screamers, Toneczar Openhaus, etc.

but cmon, not liking tube amps is equivalent to not liking the tuning E A D G B E

As for me, I don't like Chorus pedals. Any chorus pedal for that matter. It's just not me.

Siguro bad experience lang sa tube amps hehe.

2 gigs na dumaan na nagkataong tube type yung amps tapos masyadong madumi yung tunog (para sakin).

Pati minsan kahit gusto ko clean sound lang, may natural dirt siya. Di ko gusto yun

Oh well kanya-kanyang trip nga naman, nasanay lang siguro ako sa solid-state.

Q: Ang Orange amps ay solid-state noh?

Yung tipong ganung tunog solve nako doon haha

Hindi ba yung ibang posts eh personal preference na lang ang binabanggit at hindi yung essence ng original title? Like B.C. Rich and other pointy guitars, for example. Kahit naman yata kelan eh hindi ito nagustuhan ng karamihan eh. So, hindi masasabing it's "a piece of gear that everyone seems to like, except you"

For some reason, I don't like basses that aren't Fender styled. like the Warwicks and the like. Yes I've heard them played and they sound amazing. but I'd still go
for the P-Bass,Jazz bass, and the Jag Bass over the 5 string warwick like basses haha

oh, and those straps with designs like bullets.. especially the police sign strap. i find it weird haha

Personal experience with tube amps. And it wasn't very nice.

Naiintindihan ko kung bakit yung iba ayaw ng tube amps. Una, kung may limitadong budget yung musician, malaking konsiderasyon ang gagastusin sa pagpapalit ng tubo. Yun namang iba na spartan clean tone ang hanap, ayaw ng distortion na inherent sa saturated tubes. Lalo na kung limitado lang ang nasubukan n'yang bilang nang tube amps, at ang nasubukan pa eh Marshall-based na low wattage amp. Getting a clean tone at gig-usable volume from one of those is like trying to squeeze blood from a turnip. Parang yung Reinhardt 18 ko nuon, laging distorted kahit anong level. Pero dun naman talaga nage-excel ang tube amps eh. Tapos, may paniniwala pa na napaka fragile ng tube amps. Para sa akin, lahat ng bagay na hindi pagtutuunan ng tamang kalinga eh talagang madaling masisira. You want a hardcase for your guitar, right? So why should your pedalboard and amp deserve less?

Toneczar openhaus...I really don't know why, but i really don't like it.
A Les Paul guitar with a different name...I'm sorry but it still sounds like a Les Paul even with me not looking at it. Whether it be cheap or not...IT WILL ALWAYS BE A COPY!!!

must have been a crappy SG guitar, cause ive owned 3 and none of them neck dive like Firebirds and Thunderbirds do.

To be honest, I really don't know.

I just want amps that sound clean

no tube breakups/dirt signal hehe.

Siguro ang hinahanap ng tenga ko yung crystal-clear and bright sounding lang para Tele ko.
