usually a BOSS BD-2 pushed by a TS-9 (better kung 808). or clean with a compressor and reverb..

John Mayer = HALIMAW (roar!).

recent lang ako nkapakinig ng music nya,,pero ive been a fan..hayup sa solo's hbang kumakanta.. performer tlga..to master the playing technique both in acoustic and electric guitar while singing is very hard..and yung mga nkakagwa nun,.sobrang hanga ako..astig ung npakingnan ko na song nya..ung "Vultures"..npaka expressive nung kanta ..pra kang niroromansa sa gnda,,.I Love You John Mayer..wahaha.. ^^

Pansin ko lang dun sa lyrics ng "Who says", pang "rockstar" na ang lyrics nya, medyo di na ko makarelate. Dati kasi mga songs nya maganda mga story and pang mga musician pa, well hirap din talaga pag tour ng tour. Sana mas "malaman" yung ibang songs. Same goes with songs like: Heartbreak warfare (mukhang kasama sa album), puro 1st person point of view about rockstar antics and boasting na malakas sa chicks. Still great melody, vox and guitar playing as expected. Baka naman eto lang patok ngayon kaya first single. Waiting for the album

What a sound!!! Reminds me of cool guitar driven 80's bands, (i cant pin point which coz I was in early elementary during the era.)

It's so different from the "acoustic leaks" from his live bar performances.

yep its a replica of Jimi's Monterey Strat that he burnt in Monterey Pop Fest. Awesome... There were only 210 made if my memory serves me right.
