ano ang specs ng satellite (high/mid) speaker: type, woofer size, power handling, and sensitivity?

tingnan muna natin ang specs ng satellite.

Yamaha S115V
power handling: 250 watts continuous
nominal impedance: 8 ohms
sensitivity: 99 dB/W/m
LF driver: 15" woofer

Your speaker spec:
    Yamaha S115V Specifications

    * Woofer: 15-inch
    * Tweeter (diaphragm): 2-inch titanium
    * Frequency Response (-10dB): 55Hz - 16kHz
    * Power Handling (noise/program/peak): 250/500/1000 watts
    * Sensitivity: 99dB
    * Dimensions (approximate): 19 x 28 x 15 inches
    * Weight (approx.): 60.5 lbs.
    * Enclosure Covering: Carpet

Yung recommended sayo na sub spec:
     "eto po ung specs ng nirecommend ng yamah na sub..."

Frequency range(-10dB) 30Hz-2kHz

Nominal impedance

NOISE 300W 600W 1200W

sensitivity (1W,1m) 96dB SPL

Components 18" cone

Kapatid, my comment is... LISTEN for the combination! You might have a problem later sa matching ng 2 speakers. Observe the frequency ng dalawa, yung yamaha 1 (model S115V) lower frequency is 55hz then yung Yamaha 2 upper frequency is 2khs (presence region or midrange). Bale they joined together from 55hz to 2khz. This joining is disaster kung hindi ka gagamit ng equipment like speaker crossover management (another cost) para sa proper frequency cut-off ng dalawa. The reason is, iniiwasan mo ang magkaroon ng tinatawag na comb filtering effect,     yung cancellation or reinforcement of sound at some frequency when these two sounds combine and interact. So two things might happen, lost or over-boost for the mid bass up to mid-frequency.
    About sa sensitivity difference ng dalawa, just double the output power for the Yamaha 2 or you may lessen half the power for Yamaha 1 to have  a balance.
    Tutal you will give it a listen naman, go for clean bass if you can, inde yung one-note bass na sinasabi. Goodluck!

Correct. Due to that difference of sensitivity between the loudspeaker and the sub, the amp for the sub should have a power rating of twice that of the amp for the loudspeaker.

pwede! mas mataas pa ang sensitivity.
