Maple and birch are light wood in general. The metal parts of the drum - hoops, lugs, mounts, etc. - are more influential to a drum's overall weight.

oh i see! now i know! way back, i thought that Birch are more dense and "makunat" type of thing which give the focused sound and on the other hand, Maple are more like crispy type of wood which gives the open and loud personality.. hehehe.. my bad! mas mabigat kasi yung BD ng Gretsch Black hawk kesa dun sa Pearl Export series eh..

finally! i've got my snare! Sonor Force 2005 Full Birch.. Natural Finish.. nice..

still using a stock head though! hehe.. matching the snare with my newly made 16" BD.. focused! hehehe..

pasensya na kapatid na dindin... pero nainlab din ako kahit papano sa finish nito e... not to mention yung pakikipagtalo ko na 10lugs sya at last stock na sya bago ko pa kunin... hehe!!!

pero payag ako kung isasama mo yung ibang endorsement mo... hehe!!!

After 2 days of natetyempuhan ko laging down ang philmusic, nakapag online naren sa wakas! sir malambeng25, thanks! and happy drumming too with your new Sonor 3005.. eto pics nung aken..

hehe..

i just hope you can see the "2005" in the badge..

baket UX remo coated ang nakalagay saken? alam ko UT dapat eh.. hehehe

sorry for the pics, camera fone lang kasi at gabi ko pa kinunan..

kainggit naman! naka 2.3mm power hoops ang 3005! astig! hehehe.. nibale, balak ko naman mag wood hoops eh.. san kaya nakakabili nun? paging sir pmack!

sir legnacilyz, sa jb mega ko nakuha yung snare stand. 2,4k syempre tinawaran ko na naman, 1,9k na lang. mabigat sya, pero heavy duty naman. dinidiinan ko yung stand, kayang kaya! :

malakas ka saken sir autoexec... with pictures pa ang kasagutan ko... hehe!

nung naginquire ako, konti na lang daw stocks nila. pero 2 days before ko kunin, sabi nagiisa na lang daw kaya kinuha ko na, pero syempre ininspeksyon ko muna kung ayos bago ko binili. try mo pa din magtanong sa ibang branch, baka kc meron pang stocks.

mga sir/bro Nakabili na ko kanina lang sa megamall ng sonor force 3005.

kaso di ko pa masyadong kabisado kung pano magandang tuning dito..

Tadong salonga yan, sa JB-megamall pala yung sinasabi nilang nag iisa nalang daw nilang stock sa warehouse. Heheh loko buti na lang may kakilala ako dun sa JB, tumawag pa daw sa kanila yung salonga at pinapakuha yung snare. Heheheh. Kaso hindi sparkle finish yun sakin eh. Hehe. Ayos lang yun.!

Ganda ng drumkey mo joseph ah! hehehe.. yung akin, pepetsugin lang na drum key.. nibale, mei drumkey naman ako ng sonor galing sa dpeds ko! ehehehe.. baket ganun? UT remo ang heads niyo, akin UX remo? hehehe.. waw.. so apat na kayong owner ng sonor maple 3005.. nag iisa lang ba ako? wala bang maka-birch jan? hekhek.. wala lang! ipalaganap ang SONOR!

sarap ng tunog ng snare ko.. lalo nat rim shot.. Db+3 ang tuning.. hekhek.. malakas lang magbuzz pag apak ng BD.. kahit anong adjustment ko sa snare.. pero ok lng.. hindi naman na obvious yung buzz..
