What is the best digital multi effects at the Php8-13K price range?
Currently, I'm looking at the Line 6 Floor Pod vs. Zoom's G2.1U. I'm gonna use it for PC recording, home recording, small bar gigs with shiiiiiitty amps. So, I would need a really good amp simulator.
The Line 6 Floor Pod has really faithful amp sims since it is based on the pod 2.0. The Zoom on the other hand has more user support locally. And it can be quite useable for leads although the rhythm distortions are nasal and lacks the chug chug the line 6 can do.
Anyway, looking for everyone's recommendations quick!

If I have a budget of 8-15K i'd go for the Floor Pod (P8.4k) or the Floor Pod Plus (P14k). :-D Kaso summer swing out sale prices lang yan. :wink:

kaya nga nagmamadali ako kasi hanggang wednesday na lang ang sale. and anglaki ng nabawas sa floorpod. 12,500 ang orig price niya right?
but then, baka kasi kaya ng g2.1 yung floor pod capabilities. Since halos pareho sila interface. But IMO, mas maganda talaga amp sims ng line6.

tama, 12.5k ang orig price.
para sakin mas pipiliin ko parin yung Floor Pod, soundclips palang sa youtube nung FloorPod mas maganda na kaysa sa sound ng G2.1u ng kilala ko. :-D

i'd say go for the line 6 floor pod plus.. i got the chance to use it one time.. kahit yun na nga lang un gamitin mo pang live eh ok na ok! great dist quality hindi ganun ka digital tumunog, it even works great on the crappy amp sa skul namin..
go for it for the price of 18k may line6 spider III 15watts amp ka pa na package!

as for the amp sims ng zoom mejo supot nga, lalu na un high gain mejo hingi cut thru sa mix pag live na :-(

ndi nagags din ako sa amp kaya nagpunta ako ng yupangco just this week.. kaya nakuha ko lahat ng packages nila i even have their brochure.. or kung gusto mo..

yup bro, kailan pa ng separate eq para lumitaw un tunog ng g2.1u, kaya binenta ko na un, tpos bumili ako ng gnx4 :-)

di ko pa na-try yung zoom g2.1 pero i owned Floor Pod Line 6, last year lang.. Ok yung high gains niya. I recommend it kung Death Metal tugtugan..
edit: OT: sayang,by next week baka benta ko na yung pinalit ko sa Floor POD, kaya lang metal pala tugtugan.. :-D

that's exactly the reason. may line6 uber metal kasi ako which is a great stand alone ped. pero kelangan ko ng pang lead, tuner at amp sims. tsaka olats ang mga bar na tinotogs namin kaya ayun...amp sim ang kelangan.
bakit naman owned, why did you sell it? anong flaws niya? gusto ko kasi sa kanya "twist knob...get tone" thing. parang amp na. yung zoom edit ka pa parameters at values. kapagod. LOL! Balita ko olats yung pedal...hanggang wah at volume lang. Zoom variable pedal control e.

may nabili kasi ako na mas malaking multi na yun na nga, ibebenta ko ulit(switching to analogs naman).. sale ko din kasi binili yung Floor POD so madali lang bitawan, di masakit sa loob..hehe! pero nammiss ko na dahil mas madali siyang dalhin kaysa dito sa isa ko.. :-D

e may mga kamay na ginto yang mga yan e. haha pero seriously pare, strongly considering a g2 because of them. golden choice talaga sa metal scene eh no? portable e.

sir may i suggest rin check niyo na rin Digitech Rp250A, around 10K Audiophile para may choices ka, I'm really not a Line6 fan eversince i tested the pedal i don't know maybe its me but they sound so fake to me i liked the zoom g2 i had better. IMO lang naman peace

no problem man. unlimitedly, some line6 setting sound fake. well digital is digital. I like the digitech sounds lalo na yung pang rhythm. kakahilo nga lang i-tweak. sensya na dude tamad ako...that's why im choosing between the zoom g2 and line6. thanks for the opinion man.

I find Korg units faster to tweak. I used to own the AX1000G and AX1500G but I currently use just a Zoom G2.... mas na inlab ako sa tunog.

my g2 has practically everything i need for my playing. very compact and very convenient to use. kung d ka satisfied sa distortion nya d magdagdag ka ng distortion factory from digitech o yung tube screaner ng ibanez. palagay ko ok na set up mo nun. nasubukan mo n ba me-50? i heard maganda daw yun parang gusto ko nga kumuha kaso baka d ako umabot sa sale.

i have a ZOOM g2.1u... sounds great! its very affordable for a multi-effect!

yep just tried an me-50. parang analog stomp box yung layout. kaso lang hindi pang death metal. bitin. pero sige subukan ko lagyan ng addtl pedal yung g2.1. Hindi ba ako mag f-feedback? maganda ba yung znr noise gate niya pag heavily compressed na?
