Can my E20MT be modded?

Hello my fellow forumites. I was wondering if my E20MT can be modded to have a better sound. The distortion knob is pretty much useless and does not affect the sound at all although the tone knob largely affects the sound and gives it a unique crunch but it is too muddy for my taste.

Do you guys have any idea on this ?
