Re: Artworks section naman..
« Reply #100 on: December 07, 2006, 07:26:20 AM »
Visual artists here in Philmusic must make sure that they are willing to share their artworks.  There might be possible issues regarding intellectual property, copyrights, things like that...  Because there could be somebody out there who might steal your ideas.

Just a thought, guys.  But I think an art forum isn't so bad.

 8-)

No problem with me since I wont share ideas and original concepts naman.. but mostly modern artworks that is either rock and roll themed or yung tamang kakulitan lang.. just to share some nice moments.. kahit na edited pictures of your bands or soon to be cover ng CD can be shared.. all for one purpose of sharing it to our fellow artists and musicians..
imma badass!! <funky guitar rift>

i second that ...

in other hand... talk@philmusic isnt really for buy and sell. its really a forum fo all musicians to exchange thoughts and share musical knowledge and technics.

I, too would suggest having a feedback system.

Although I agree with edgeofillusion-jepoy that the board is primarily for music and musicians, I came upon a thread discussing a member (along with the member's band) who was shortchanged by another re: booking in the Middle East and/or and running away with the band's money.

I believe that musicians and artists are so easily taken advantage of. A feedback system may serve as a good warning regarding deals, not just in exchange of goods but most especially with rendering services for others, especially if money has exchanged hands (caveat emptor!) and trust between members are broken.

After all, forums and boards thrive on the responsible behavior of its members and are mainly based on trust. But for unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances, we should be able to monitor our own ranks.

The discussion i referred to above can be found here

Thanks, edge.

I think a feedback system would be very helpful under 'Musicians Wanted', among other threads : )

up ko lang to. :-D

regarding dun sa issue stated by sir drumster...

i believe that by posting our own works here on the forums, masasabi na din natin na saatin talaga yun. or we can watermark our artworks para sure.

THREAD REQUESTING FOR A WIND INSTRUMENTALISTS FORUM SECTION
« Reply #110 on: April 05, 2007, 05:08:24 AM »
kawawa naman woodwind and orchestral intrument players natin. konti na nga mga shops for their gear konti pa forums for growth. Ü.

a classifieds section for horns and woodwinds would also be nice. im not a wind instrumentalist myself but i pity these guys. i think it would be a great addition to philmusic's forum lineups.

cheers!

Ok yung wind instrument forum. I used to be a baritone bugle player back in highschool and I love that instrument. :)

buhayin ko lang tong thread na to.

i think kailangan na talaga may ratings page bawat user lalo na at madami ng nakaka experience ng di maganda sa buy and sell section.

i think this will also avoid hate threads

heres a screenshot from the other site.

Breaking down the Classifieds: Guitar and Bass Accessories section
« Reply #122 on: June 17, 2007, 11:53:04 PM »
... or at least, do a bit of re-classifying.

this section nearly has as many posts as the rest of the Classifieds section combined. the sheer number of threads by itself heavily encourages the rather annoying "up" posts. vicious cycle.

just my observation.

oo nga, how about separate sections for amps, effects and misc (strings, tubes, hardware etc)?
